And there goes October.
By this time next week, our Halloween costumes will be in the closet and we’ll have come up with a new reason to dress up as Wolverine (as if we needed any excuse!).
That must mean we just saw the last weekend of October and more big Sunday action. The PokerStars Sunday Million is the biggest money of any weekend, and the past couple of days were no exception. PokerStars player grifo173 from the United States pocketed a sweet $242,479 for his weekend work. See how he did it over at Jen Newell’s 10-25-09 Sunday Million final table report.
That, of course, is impressive, but we can’t let it overshadow the performance put on Canda’s a$$ou who cut a two-way deal and won $140,745 in the latest Sunday Warm-Up. David Aydt has the story in the 10-25-09 Sunday Warm-Up final table report.
And, it wouldn’t be the last Sunday of a month without a running of the Battle of the Planets Triple Shootout. This month’s contest saw a very rare 9-way final table chop. You can see how it all went down at at our October 2009 Battle of the Planets report.
You can find a complete rundown of this weekend’s big tournament results, check out our 10-25-09 PokerStars Sunday tournament results page.
Congrats to all of this week’s winners. And, if you’re not doing anything this Saturday, feel free to join us as we save the world one bite-sized Milky Way at a time.
Good luck in the meantime.Back to Top
