As for today’s Women’s Sunday, it was another stellar turnout that blew away the $10K guarantee:

Total players: 263
Guarantee: $10,000.00
Prize pool: $13,150.00
Paid finishers: 45

Team Online’s Adrienne “talonchick” Rowsome was in action today with a $50 bounty, as was Friend of PokerStars Charlotte “Sjlot” Van Brabander, though both exited early in the tournament. Team PokerStars Pro Liv Boeree ran deeper but departed in 53rd place, just a few spots before the money bubble.

The event was reduced to only two tables into the fourth hour, but it took nearly an hour to reach hand-for-hand play on the final table bubble. Several rounds of play later, it was spice chili who moved all-in from the button. But Bceky_Cka! called all-in from the big blind with 99. Spice chili showed 1010, which only improved to a full house on the 310664 board. Bceky_Cka! departed in tenth place with $197.25.

Mrs.cesspool with solid chip lead

The final table was then set as follows:

Seat 1: Kloto1977 (74,781 in chips)
Seat 2: irongirl899 (32,041 in chips)
Seat 3: drkamikaze1 (88,025 in chips)
Seat 4: 8*TyMoRa*8 (50,656 in chips)
Seat 5: IHeizenberGI (53,758 in chips)
Seat 6: krymovka (112,556 in chips)
Seat 7: mrs.cesspool (194,191 in chips)
Seat 8: spice chili (87,249 in chips)
Seat 9: lovely denny (95,743 in chips)

Action picked up quickly, as the very first hand of the final table saw IHeizenberGI move all-in from the big blind. Original UTG raiser krymovka called with JJ, which was ahead of the 1010 of IHeizenberGI. The board of 56947 changed nothing, and IHeizenberGI was out in ninth place with $230.12.

Just a few hands later, irongirl899 made her move. The hand started with a raise from krymovka and call by mrs.cesspool, but irongirl899 reraised all-in from the big blind with JJ. Krymovka folded, but mrs.cesspool called with AQ and caught the first card of the A66 flop. The 9 on the turn and 3 on the river ended the hand with irongirl899 out in eighth place with $315.60.

Shortly thereafter, 8*TyMoRa*8 shoved all-in UTG with 55, but mrs.cesspool called with 77. Nothing about the Q8102J board changed the outcome, as 8*TyMoRa*8 was eliminated in seventh place with $447.10.

Spice chili scored a huge double through lovely denny:

That left lovely denny with less than 6,300 chips, so she proceeded to double through spice chili and then again through mrs.cesspool.

Kloto1977, who took fourth place in last week’s Women’s Sunday, then moved all-in from the button with K3. Krymovka called from the big blind with AJ, and the board of 379A5 gave krymovka the best hand. Kloto1977 had to accept sixth place this week with $578.60 in prize money.

Mrs.cesspool finally lost her chip lead to krymovka, but that was only until this happened:

Two hands later, lovely denny doubled through krymovka, leaving the latter with a very short stack. Krymovka then pushed all-in with Q7 and 6,939 chips. Mrs.cesspool reraised all-in, which prompted original raiser lovely denny to fold. Mrs.cesspool showed A7, which improved to a pair on the 64KJA board. Krymovka exited in fifth place with $749.55.

Lovely denny, who was short but still hoping for a repeat of her March 2013 Women’s Sunday victory, made her move with A4 against the 98 of mrs.cesspool. But the flop of 679 gave mrs.cesspool the lead, and the K and Q finished the hand with lovely denny out in fourth place with $1,084.87.

Drkamikaze1 was the shortest of the three stacks but doubled through mrs.cesspool to stay in the game. But soon after, drkamikaze1 moved again, that time with 87 in the small blind. Mrs.cesspool called from the big blind with 44, and that hand stood up to the JA6Q3 board. Drkamikaze1 departed in third place with $1,446.50.

Mrs.cesspool still leading, two remaining

The final two players began their heads-up match with these chip counts:

Seat 7: mrs.cesspool (688,636 in chips)
Seat 8: spice chili (100,364 in chips)

Spice chili came out swinging and scored a double-up. Mrs.cesspool got aggressive, though, and spice chili lost ground. The latter doubled again to 178K chips and then chipped up to more than 250K. And then this double put spice chili in the chip lead:

Ten hands later, mrs.cesspool got into a big hand with spice chili. After a raised flop of 6Q9, mrs.cesspool bet, and spice chili check-raised. Mrs.cesspool moved all-in with KK, but spice chili called with Q8 for the lower pair but a number of outs. The 10 was discouraging for mrs.cesspool, and the J gave spice chili the straight flush. Mrs.cesspool, who just took second place less than two months ago, took second again, this time for $1,906.75.

Spice chili of Brazil captured her first Women’s Sunday victory and $2,544.64. Congrats!
