World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) 2020 ends in style
The WCOOP 2020 came to an end on Wednesday night, putting a lid on an incredible few weeks of Twitch poker.
We were lucky enough to watch cards-up coverage of huge events every night on the PokerStars channel, and improve our own games via expert commentary from the likes of Sam Grafton and Griffin Benger.
We got to see our favourite streamers get hyped up for Day 2s and deep runs.
And somehow we even witnessed Ben “Spraggy” Spragg win a title. Incredible scenes.
The $5,200 Main Event was the event everyone had their eye on when the series was first announced, what with its $10M prize pool and the winner getting bragging rights for the rest of their career.
This year’s champ was Andre “PTFisherman23” Marques, a Portuguese player based in the Netherlands, who took it down for an absurd $1,147,270.86 following a three-way chop.

Biggest online cash for ‘xflixx’ in $5K WCOOP Main
As play got deep in the Main Event, the entire Twitch poker community was cheering on Felix “xflixx” Schneiders.
He ultimately cashed for $11,828 for 238th place out of 1,977 entries, his largest score to date.
The PokerStars Ambassador put on a great show, so we’ve rounded up his best clips so you can relive the run.
He started to pick up chips thanks to a bluff donation.
It wasn’t all smooth sailing though, as you’ll see.
Still, a triple up didn’t hurt.
Here’s that same hand from the PokerStars channel.
Why have just one triple up when you can have two?
The commentary team loved to see it.
Despite the short stack, xflixx locked up his largest ever poker win.
Alas, he’d have to settle for that min-cash.

Spraggy’s $5K Main Event started rough.
And it didn’t get any better.
Here’s some fantastic PLO analysis from Richard Gayler.
The magic hand comes up short.
Never lucky, eh Tonkaaaa?
