So you’ve heard the news — the PokerStars Players NL Hold’em Championship is back!

But have you heard about how you can be among the first to win Platinum Passes to next year’s PSPC. No? Take a seat and find out… and perhaps you’ll also be taking at seat in Barcelona a year from now to play the PSPC in August 2020!

We all remember how earlier this year Ramón Colillas was one of 320 players who won a Platinum Pass to compete in the inaugural PSPC in the Bahamas. Colillas then distinguished himself further by winning the whole shebang to capture a $5.1 million first prize.

Colillas was dealt A-5 in his winning hand, and that’s the first thing you need to remember when vying for your own Platinum Pass to play in the 2020 version of the PSPC.

First off, log onto PokerStars and play a real money hand at an eligible cash game table. Eligible tables include those with minimum $0.02/$0.05 stakes, regular cash games or Zoom. Then win a hand with A-5 in order to unlock your PSPC Mystery Chest.

This is the Willy Wonka part of the promotion. When opening your Mystery Chest, you’ll be hoping to find a Platinum Pass in your Mystery Chest that will get you a buy-in to the €22,500 PSPC 2020 event, a six-night trip to Barcelona for you and a guest (including a room at a five-star hotel and all transfers), another €1,250 for expenses, as well as other winner experiences reserved for PP winners during the event.

Even if you don’t win a Platinum Pass, there are other prizes in those Mystery Chests, including Sit & Go Mega Path tickets, Spin & Go Mega Path tickets, and Daily All-in Shootout tickets.

Of course, you probably don’t want to waste too much time, as some players have already found Platinum Passes in their Mystery Chests. A total of 10 Platinum Passes will be won this way — 5 on the dot-com site and 5 more on the France & Spain sites — and they’re going fast.

So get in there. Get A-5. And go for it!
