joker180785 wins the Sunday Million
It was a tense affair in the Sunday Million this week. In football that usually means a dreary nil-nil draw, but in Sunday Million poker it tends to mean the winner was hard to predict until the very last hand.
As Jason Kirk reported, the heads-up contest was no one sided formality, with eventual winner joker180785 overcoming a tough opponent in dennysramos2 of Brazil. This came after a deal of the money had already been arranged. At stakes a pride, and the prestige associated with a Sunday Million title. It was good stuff, and well worth reading about.

the latest Platinum Pass winners
It wouldn’t be a normal weekend without somebody somewhere winning a Platinum Pass. So we’re pleased to say this was a normal weekend.
This weekend’s winner was Mike Takayama, who won the PokerStars LIVE Manila Super Series 5 in Manila to secure his passage to the PokerStars Players Championship in the Bahamas next January. Matt Showell was court side with the story, which you can read here, along with a video interview with the winner himself.
That’s it for this weekend. Send us your stories at @PokerStarsBlog.
