50/50 WCOOP Series starts with a bang, Teun Mulder wins Supersonic, plus latest poker results

Here’s where you’ll find the latest highlights and PokerStars results, including the Sunday Majors and High Roller Club.

The 50/50 WCOOP Series took off this weekend, starting with the Series Opener. Dimitar “Bashov” Bashov from Bulgaria came first in that one, earning an impressive $37,739 from the $50 buy-in event. “ShouldPass” from Belgium won the Sunday Supreme for $31,151. Other 50/50 winners included “Chance0070” from Japan, and “Boogerd21” from the Netherlands. Winners also received a $5,200 WCOOP Main Event ticket.

Highlights from the HRC: “Tr!pleeeee” from Poland took on a tough final table of pros to claim first place in the Sunday HR for $36,700; Teun “tinnoemulder” Mulder from the Netherlands won the $1,050 Sunday Supersonic for $23,212; and “seijistar” from Brazil won the HRC Sunday Cooldown for $19,970 (inc. bounties).

Last week’s standout player, “Gogac sniper”, showed relentless form again, taking down the Saturday KO for a total of $14,142, and also coming third in the HRC Sunday Cooldown for a total of $7,417.
