And we’ve got our Season 7 APPT Cebu final table.

Day 3 went by fairly quick as we got down to nine players in just under six levels. We’re on Level 18 and the clock has stopped with 32 minutes and 54 seconds to go. In a tournament of short days, today has been the shortest.

Leading the final table is Jim Collopy. Collopy has had a colossal day where he dealt elimination after elimination. Collopy dropped a bit from his peak of 700,000 and will start the final table with 605,000.

Tomorrow, the remaining nine players will come back and sit like so:

Seat 1: Sim “Simba” Jaekyung –371,000
Seat 2: Hyunshik Yun — 528,000
Seat 3: Anthony John Wright — 412,000
Seat 4: Michael Allmrodt — 34,000
Seat 5: Daniel Spence — 450,000
Seat 6: Magnus Karlsson — 221,000
Seat 7: James Collopy — 605,000
Seat 8: Andrew Nguyen — 316,000
Seat 9: Timo Kohijoki — 148,000

The final table bubble might’ve been the longest part of the tournament as it started nearly 40 minutes ago. We got to the bubble when Jim Collopy continued his reign of queso by eliminating Day 1B chipleader, Milan Gurung.

As has been standard for Collopy today, the chips went all-in preflop. Gurung had initially raised to 13,000, Collopy made it 33,000 and Gurung moved all-in for 118,000.

Collopy called and showed Q♥ J♥ to Gurung’s A♦ 10♣ . But there was a queen in the window and Gurung wouldn’t improve. Gurung finished 11th for PHP 247,000.

Then we entered a rarity for this tournament: a lull.

Things slowed down and we were devoid of all-ins despite having a few short stacks. Then we got our second pop of the day. The first came at 20, this one came at 10.

The player that moved all-in on the final table was the same player that nearly became the money bubble, Andrel Kaigorodtcev.

Then Kaigorodtcev found himself in that situation all over again. It was a battle of the blinds and Magnus Karlsson moved all-in for 130,000 from the small blind. Kaigorodtcev was short and called from the big.

The last hand of Day 3 saw Karlsson turning over 10â™  5â™  to Kaigorodtcev’s A♥ 4♥ . It looked like we were in for a double up, but poker is unpredictable.

The flop came 10♥ 6â™  7♦ to pair Kaigorodtcev’s ten, but then the turn brought a K♥ to give Kaigorodtcev a flush draw. The river brought a 4♦ and Kaigorodtcev became our 10th place finisher, earning PHP 247,000.
