We already mentioned some of the positive reasons why players should choose Day 1a as the day to take their shot in the Aussie Millions Main Event. Well, we just thought of another one. The weather.
If you’ve ever ventured to Australia in January then you’ll already know that it gets hot. Damn hot. Just ask the Australian Open tennis players who recently endured a week of hot weather that hovered close to 44 degrees Celsius (about 111 degrees Fahrenheit) every day. It was so hot that the lines melted off the court and the net caught fire. Ok, so it wasn’t quite that bad, but they did have to call a halt to play at one stage for fear of the heat becoming dangerous to players.

We thoroughly encourage visitors to get out and about in Melbourne and enjoy the sites that this wonderful city has to offer. But if you’re not a fan of heat, then you’re best bet this week is to make a deep run at the Aussie Millions where the weather is perfect every day.
