You may already know who won, particularly if you read the match report earlier this week, but if you want to enjoy a pretty good demonstration of poker’s various nuances you should start with the Sunday Million highlights from this past weekend.

Whether it’s how to play a lengthy (and enjoyable) heads-up, how to play the impossible short stack, or how to start with the chip lead, and finish with the chips lead. It all comes courtesy of PokerStars.tv, with highlights available either below or on the PokerStars.tv homepage.

Among other things you’ll bear witness to m1ronO’s heroic rear guard, or as commentator Nick Wealthall put it, his “tragic struggle to get back to relevance”. Tragic it may have been but it was certainly profitable, with the Ukrainian turning what looked like a guaranteed ninth place, and a payday of $10,000, into sixth place and a payday of $42,000.

You’ll also see how one player, fournn, turned $7 into $98,000, but also how eventual winner Rodrigo “rportaleoni” Garrido triumphed with a wire-to-wire finish.

It’s all available at PokerStars.tv, or by watching highlights below.
