We’re deep into the second week of the Bounty Builder Series and more than $18.5 million has gone into the prize pools. Who’s been taking it all out? Well, two more players took a second handful, while a very familiar German sealed the deal at last. Read our latest round-up for more details…

Double, double, double: The Bounty Builder Series has its second and third double champions after two winners of 5-Card PLO tournaments on Monday night were return visitors to the top of the podium. First up, the player who created his PokerStars screen-name by copy/pasting his wifi password — “4bet_multibet!“, from Poland, won another title on Monday night. “4bet_multibet!” won the $1.10 buy-in event after beating a 3,912-entry field, picking up a quite remarkable $218.59 in bounties alone. (The second-highest bounty haul of the tournament was the $37.65 “Strim_37” earned as he finished 12th.) “4bet_multibet!” added prize money of $271.69 to total $490.28. Last week, the same player won the $55 NLHE 8-Max, beating another 2,399 entries to win $14,440.95.
At precisely the same time, Russia’s “Zapahzamazki” was similarly adding a second title when he/she beat a 512-entry field in the $109 buy-in 5-Card PLO event. That victory was worth $9,819.11, including bounties, and went into the Russian player’s coffers alongside the $14,540.56 won in Event 50 last week.
Schemion gets his hair-cut: They say that if you keep on going into the barber’s shop, eventually you’re going to end up getting a haircut. And last night, Ole “wizowizo” Schemion, pictured top, finally got shorn. After a number of near misses in this Bounty Builder series, the Austria-based superstar finally closed out an event, booking a victory in Event #117, the $1,050 six-max. This was actually a brilliant final table, with Schemion beating Chris “NigDawG” Brammer heads up, after Danish No 1 Simon “Igorkarkarof” Rønnow Pedersen went out in third. Gianluca “tankanza” Speranza finished seventh, bubbling the final table.
Brazilian bounty masters: It was a very good couple of days for players from Brazil. On Tuesday night, the Samba kings went 1-2 in Event #122, when “Tumbalha” beat “manooa7” heads up. “Nelepo10” also won the $55 buy-in Event #116. But that was nothing compared with what happened in Event #107 the day before. In that $2.20 buy-in tournament, “budalzeira” won the top prize of $1,188.32 with “fabiopiloni” landing a runner-up spot, and Brazilians occupied five of the top seven places.
Come in, Sri Lanka!: Tournaments in the Bounty Builder Series have already been won this time around by players from some less well-known poker-playing regions, including Faroe Islander “Jackways”, who won on the first day. On Monday night “Isurox” added Sri Lanka’s flag to the official honour-roll, prevailing from the 100th event of the series. That was the $215 NLHE 8-Max turbo, with 642 entries. “Isurox” won a total $22,916.74, more than half of which came in bounties. The very next night, attention shifted to another lesser-known poker region when Bolivia’s “oriente1” won the $2,100 buy-in NLHE 8-Max. That was worth $95,757.59, with more than $52K coming in bounties.
“rmullen” adds BB to WCOOP: It’s been a decent couple of months for Canada’s “rmullen” who added victory in the Bounty Builder series to a WCOOP title he earned in September. “rmullen” won WCOOP-13-L: $55 NLHE Mini Sunday Million, for a $62,763.77 payday, and then came out on top of an 870-entry field in the $215 8-Max, banking another $25,276.32. In winning a title in each of those series, “rmullen” joins Naoya “nkeyno” Kihara, who also did a WCOOP/BB double.
How long have you been around?: Two players who must have set up their PokerStars accounts a long time ago saw their patience rewarded in tournaments on Tuesday night. “zigi”, of Belgium, and “milennial”, of Bulgaria, both have the kind of short, real-word screen-names (slight spelling error notwithstanding) that suggest they opened their accounts at a time when all real words/names had not yet been snapped up. “milennial” won the $530 entry NLHE event, banking $38,996.09, including bounties, while “zigi” won the same event with the $55 buy-in. That earned the Belgian $18,450.98.

LEADER BOARD UPDATES
As mentioned above, this Bounty Builder Series has taken us to some far-flung regions of the poker world, and we also have a much under-represented country at the very top of the KO leader board.
“Andypsx” is registered on PokerStars as from Andorra, the tiny microstate between Spain and France.
Though it’s difficult to know whether “Andypsx” is indeed a native Andorran (and there are around 77,000 of them only), he is putting the country on the map.
Much more of this and he’ll have nearly knocked out as many players as there are in his country.
