EPT
Following the great success of similar events at the EPT London and the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure, Monte Carlo today hosts the first ever high roller event at the EPT Grand Final.

Jason Mercier won the inaugural event at the London EPT for £516,000 ahead of the WSOPE champion John Juanda, while the Team PokerStars Pro Bertrand “ElkY” Grospellier picked up $433,500 for his win at the PCA equivalent. The three-day event here has a €25,000 buy-in and is expected to feature many of the top players in the world. In last night’s satellite, 12 players won seats into the tournament, including the Team PokerStars Pro Alexandre Gomes, as well as Liv Boeree and John Kabbaj.

We’re expecting approximately 50 players which will give us a prize pool of about €1,250,000. Players get a starting stack of 50,000 and they are starting at the same time as the main event. Busy day.
