What’s a high roller to do with him or herself on a day off in the principality? A lazy Sunday by the pool perhaps, or a few tournaments online, maybe. No play a €50,000 turbo is the answer and as we discussed earlier, lots of players were keen to do just that so a special €50,000 event was added to the schedule.

It ended up getting 54 unique players a dozen of whom also re-entered. If any of those 12 were to min-cash they wouldn’t even get their money back, but win the whole thing and they’ll almost be an instant millionaire.

1st. €936,500
2nd. €672,300
3rd. €437,000
4th. €329,800
5th. €256,100
6th. €198,500
7th. €156,900
8th. €121,700
9th. €92,860

As things stands half of those left in will make the money as the tournament is down to the final 18 players. The current chip leader is Andrei Streltsou, the Belarusian has 1,245,000 and leads from Mike Watson (1,145,000), Dzmitry Urbanovich (1,100,000) and Fabian Quoss (1,095,000). That man Urbanovich is having another good day at the felt it seems, although he is in for two bullets. You can’t have everything though Dmitry!

Other notables still in include: Fedor Holz (820,000), Mustapha Kanit (775,000), Ivan Luca (667,000), Vladimir Troyanovskiy (600,000) and Martin Finger (550,000). They are currently on a dinner break but when they return blinds will go up to 10,000/20,000 abte 3,000 so they’ll be approaching the bubble soon.

Elsewhere the €5,000 eight-handed turbo event is approaching the money too. 78 entered that one, 12 get paid and there are two tables left. Jack Salter, Tom Hall, Dominik Nitsche and Dan Heimiller are all still in whilst Martin Jacobson, Pierre Neuville and Yevgeniy Timoshenko are among those who are out.

The €200 Senior’s event – for those aged 50 or over – got 89 runners in total. Nick Galtos was one of those looking to pick up the first prize of €4,585 in that one. And the €500 Limit Stud High/Low event is still in it’s infancy with 18 of the 22 runners left. Adam Owen, Alan Gold and Niall Murray all bringing down the average age in that one.

We have all the action from three tournaments today. The €10,000 Main Event is on the Main Event page. The One-Day €50K is on the One-Day €50K page. And the France Poker Series plays to its champion on both the FPS page and EPT Live.
