We like breaking records on the EPT and another was sent another tumbling this afternoon as three new entries and 11 re-entries took the total number of runners in the €25,000 High Roller to 215 (162 uniques plus 53 re-entries). That means we broke the record Sergey Bubka style as we pipped last year’s total by one. The 162 unique entries is also a record.
It all means that the winner of this event will collect €1,114,000, which is more than the Main Event champion will collect tomorrow as whoever takes that one down will pocket €1,082,000. They’re some way off the money right now as 55 players remain and 31 get paid. It will burst later today though although the final table will likely not be reached.
