EPT12 Prague: Double win for Zhao; €2K still full of stars
1 Minute Read
Thirteen players are returning from the dinner break in Event 63, the huge €2,000 no limit hold em event. The chip leader at this stage is Or-Paz Deddi from Israel, who is going to obliterate his current total lifetime earnings regardless of what happens here. Deddi has previously won $1,402 in recorded tournaments; he’s guaranteed at least €9,000 now.
If he’s going to go all the way and claim the €120,000 first prize, he’s going to need to overcome some pretty stiff competition. Deddi has 540,000 chips at the moment, but Stephen Chidwick (420,000), Govert Metaal (440,000), Josip Simunic (250,000) and Dietrich Fast (210,000) are also still alive.
There have been a whole host of side events wrapping up today, including the “Instant Win” tournament in which Wei Zhao picked up his second title of the trip. Zhao also won a Flipout, so he’s the king of the instant win.
All the results and photos from the side events are on the side-events results page.
