4.08pm: Break time
The players have completed two levels and are on their first break of the day, see you in 20. — NW
4.05pm: Steady from Urban
Day 1A chip leader Jaroslav Urban seems to have had a steady couple of levels, he came into today with 114,000 and he’s still on pretty much exactly that, if anything he’s lost a couple of thousand, damn antes. — NW
4pm: Chip counts
I’m sporadically updating the chip counts page, keep an eye on it as it’ll be updated throughout the day. Amongst those still in is PokerStars qualifier Marius Pospiech; he has around 110,000. — NW
3.50pm: Murgoci a monster stack, Keys out
Cristian Murgoci just eliminated James Keys in the biggest pot of the tournament thus far.
Keys opened to 2,600 from early position, Murgoci made it 9,000, after a couple of minutes Keys made it 21,600, Murgoci moved all-in and Keys, who had about 90,000 to start the hand, called all-in.
Murgoci: K♦ K♣
Keys: A♦ K♥
The board ran out J♦ 10♥ 5♥ 6♥ 4♦ and Murgoci banged the table as his hand held up to rocket him to 215,000 and the chip lead. — NW
3.35pm: Kokoceva captures chip lead
Veronika Kokoceva has had a great start to the day and is up to 155,000. Mitch Johnson was on her table and said she rivered a set of sevens against Oldrich Siml ‘s pocket jacks to give her stack that boost, Siml has around 79,000. — NW
3.25pm: Zog zaps Johnson
Mitch Johnson is out, eliminated by Petar Zografov. He was down to about 34,000 on his exit hand, he shoved with A♠ Q♥ after Patric Hümmerich had moved all-in for 9,000 and been flat called by Zografov, unfortunately for the Brit Zografov had flatted with [A][K] and the board of 7♦ 2♦ 2♥ 2♣ 10♦ bought him no help. “Back to the hotel,” he said on his way out. — NW
3.15pm: Ten out in the first hour
In the first 60 minutes ten players were eliminated including Julian Hasse and Jan Petermann – he was the player who eliminated Martin Hruby on Day 1A. — NW
LEVEL UP: BLINDS 600-1,200, ante 100
3.05pm: Tripsa loses some
Overnight chip leader Marius Tripsa just lost a sizeable pot to Vitaly Malyakin. I’d missed the pre-flop action but with 18,000 in the pot it suggested it was a three-bet pot and that Malyakin had raised from under-the-gun+1 and Tripsa had three-bet from the big blind, before Malyakin had called. The flop came down A♣ Q♥ 7♥ and Tripsa bet 9,500, Malyakin announced he was all-in, which was for 37,600 total. After a couple of minutes in the tank Tripsa folded K♠ K♦ face up and Malyakin was gracious enough to show A♦ Q♣ as he took the pot. — NW
2.50pm: Pospiech picks one up
From under-the-gun Thomas Winder made it 2,000 to play, he was flat called by Marius Pospiech from the cut-off, then from the button Team PokerStars online member Grzegorz Mikielewicz made it 7,200 total. Both players called, Pospiech asking how much Mikielewicz had left before doing so. This was suddenly a very serious pot.
The flop was 9♦ 9♣ J♥ and it checked to Pospiech who bet 10,000, both Mikielewicz and Winder folded fairly quickly. — NW

2.15pm: So it begins

2.10pm: Cards are in the air
After a short delay we’re underway in Prague, let the usual start of day two carnage begin! — NW
1.45pm: Day two set to start
Welcome back to Day 2 of the Eureka Poker Tour, Prague. In total 98 of the 319 players survived to take their seats today. Of those who remain 36 will make the money, banking at least €1,280, with the winner taking home €54,800.
Whilst the big prizes won’t be dished out today we’ll definitely burst the bubble and should get very close, if not reach the final table of eight players. Stay with me for nine levels of poker, I’ve got a feeling it’s going to be good. — NW
