Two record-breaking days on the trot, this EPT Prague festival has gotten predictable – in the best way possible for the players. Eureka4 Prague has created a field of 1,738 – the biggest field in four years of Eureka events after an incredible 1,263 entrants turned up the second start day here in the Hilton Hotel in Prague.

It’s probably going to be this busy again tomorrow

Team PokerStars Pro Eugene Katchalov had a late boost when he knocked a short stack with aces against ace-queen for a 50,000 chip pot. The Ukrainian player will be coming back tomorrow with a very healthy 142,100 alongside Shannon Shorr (56,400) and around 430 players who survived the ten levels today.

Those who made it through Day 1B will join the 142 Day 1A survivors on Day 2 at 12pm CET. The full chip counts and prizepool will appear online tonight or tomorrow morning depending on when it appears in my email inbox! Tune in on Tuesday as this huge event continues.
