Home / News / Could Bounty Builder Series actually be good for you (and your bankroll)?

Knocking someone out of an online poker tournament makes you feel invigorated, according to (admittedly unscientific) twitter poll.

A bold claim you might say, but the research backs it up. Knocking someone out of a poker tournament makes you feel invigorated.

The research is of the informal kind, admittedly, and you might say that clicking a button on Twitter requires very little commitment or thought on the part of the clicker. But examine the evidence and then decide for yourself.

We asked players what they felt when they knocked a player out of an online tournament.  Put another way, what was their first sensation after sending you to the rail?

The results, you’ll agree, are striking.

More than 50% said invigorated. That’s right. As you grit your teeth back in the lobby, they’ve rarely felt better.

Another 44% admitted that busting you made them feel calm. Still good. For them. Knowing that you hardly entered their mind as they swiped your chips is no consolation.

Then there’s the remaining 4.5% who pleaded guilty. For the purposes of this Bounty Builder promotion, we’ll ignore them for now.

The main benefit of Godmode

While the tragedy of you driving Knish’s truck shouldn’t be overlooked (except by those calm types), one thing is abundantly clear: nothing makes you feel more alive and invigorated in a poker tournament than knocking someone out of it.

That’s not us saying that. It’s all there in the poll.

And what else?

Well, we ask you: Do invigorated people lack enthusiastic at work? Do they make poor role models? Are they found lacking as partners, spouses or parents? No, of course they’re not.

Invigorated people are at their best. You might even say invigorated people make better citizens, better leaders, better poker players.

Well then you might want to give this a try yourself.

Invigorate your bankroll (or your money back?)

And you can, starting this Sunday, when the Bounty Builder Series begins. For two weeks it’s all about invigoration, obviously. By that we mean it’s all about the number of players you KO.

For each player you do KO you’ll receive a bounty. Get a couple and you’ll be well on your way to making a profit, even if you finish short of the money bubble.

And if in the process of crushing the dreams of your opponents you feel neither invigorated nor calm, well then consider it a weird built-in money back guarantee.

Go even deeper and you’ll be chasing bounties, plus millions in guaranteed prize money as well.

Try it from this Sunday

If you think invigoration might be your thing, or would at least like to see for yourself, you can check out the full schedule for Bounty Builder Series here.

You’ll also find a few suggestions on which events to play, and how to play for significantly less than the regular buy-in.

Meanwhile, if you’re one of the 44.7%, try switching “calm” for the word “invigorated” in the text above. Then do the same.
