11.15pm: Lambertz wins with a four-bet
Anthony Apicella opened to 550,000, Nicolas Hamouni three-bet to 1,345,000 in the small blind before Felix Lambertz made it 2,600,000 in the big blind. Apicella folded, as did Hamouni after a quick think. Lambertz has increased his chip lead.

11.00pm: Vincent Garat eliminated in 5th place (€53,550)
Vincent Garat moved all in for 1,165,000 and Felix Lambertz made the call in the small blind.

Lambertz: K♣ 10♥
Garat: 7♣ 6♥

Garat flopped a straight draw when the board came A♠ 8♥ 5♣ but the 5♥ turn and 3♥ river changed nothing and Lambertz eliminated yet another player.

10.51pm: Hamouni shoves on Luca
Ivan Luca opened to 550,000 on the button before Nicolas Hamouni moved all in for 5,140,000 in the big blind. Luca gave it some serious thought but he eventually opted to fold.

10.34pm: Level 34 – 120,000/240,000 (30,000)
And time for a new level.

10.29pm: Lambertz wins big again
Nicolas Hamouni raised to 600,000 in the small blind and Felix Lambertz called in the big blind. The flop came 2♥ 3♠ 9♦ and Hamouni bet 590,000, Lambertz called to see the A♠ on the turn. This time Hamouni bet 775,000 and Lambertz called again.

The river was Q♣ and Hamouni checked, Lambertz bet just 255,000 and Hamouni called. Lambertz tured over A♦ 7♦ and won a pot worth over 4 million chips.

10.26pm: Abdelkader Medjahed eliminated in 6th place (€40,110)
Abdelkader Medjahed moved all for his last 2 million in chips. It was passed to Ivan Luca in the big blind and he quickly called.

The stars have suddenly aligned for the Argentinian, the board came K♣ Q♦ 5♠ 7♠ A♠ and Luca held the higher two pair. Luca is up to almost 8 million now.

10.24pm: Yohan Figueiras eliminated in 7th place (€31,080)
Ivan Luca moved all in for just under 2,800,000 and it was passed around to Yohan Figueiras who was in the big blind and he called all in for 2,300,000.

The board came 10♦ Q♦ 10♠ 3♥ 2♣ and Luca made the better two pair to eliminate the Frenchman from the table. Six players left.

10.10pm: Big river raise for Lambertz
Felix Lambertz raised to 400,000 preflop and Ivan Luca called in the big blind. Both players checked the 5♥ 8♣ Q♦ flop before Luca led for 475,000 on the 10♠ turn. Lambertz made the call and the 9♥ came the river. Luca fired 875,000 but Lambertz raised to 2,200,000. The Argentinian thought for about two minutes before opting to fold.

9.55pm: No breakthrough
It’s very much a case of raise-and-take-it at this point. The money jumps are really big and no-one wants to be the next player out of the tournament.

9.35pm: Level 33 – 100,000/200,000 (30,000)
After a tasty dinner, the players are back.

8.14pm: Dinner break
Players are now on a 75-minute break. Play will restart at approximately 9.30pm.

8.04pm: Dinner break announced
They’ve just announced the tournament will be going on a one-hour dinner break at the end of this level in around ten minutes.

7.48pm: Hamouni gets a four-bet through
Yohan Figueiras raised to 320,000 preflop before Ivan Luca made it 780,000 behind him. Action passed to Nicolas Hamouni in the small blind who thought for a minute before four-betting to 1,475,000. Figueiras quickly got out of the way and the action returned to the Argentinian.

Luca gave it some serious contemplation but ended up folding.

7.35pm: Luca doubles through Figueiras
Ivan Luca moved all in for just over 1,900,000 and it was passed to Yohan Figueiras in the small blind who made the call.

Figueiras: 10♥ 10♦

The board came 7♠ 7♣ 3♠ 6♣ A♣ and Luca hit an ace on the river to double up to almost 4 million in chips. Figueiras was left with 5,700,000.

7.19pm: Level 32 – 80,000/160,000 (20,000)
Time for a new blind level.

7.14pm: Anthony Picault eliminated in 8th place (€22,460)
Anthony Picault moved all in for 950,000 preflop before Vincent Garat also moved all in, for just over 2 million in chips. Abdelkader Medjahed wanted a count but eventually folded.

The board came J♦ 3♠ 4♥ 7♠ 6♣ and Picault went out in 8th place. Garat moved up to about 3,300,000.

7.03pm: Figueiras doubles through Lambertz
Felix Lambertz opened to 240,000 preflop before Yohan Figueiras made it 600,000 behind him. It was passed back to Lambertz who got a count on Figueiras’ 3,600,000 stack. Lambertz moved all in and Figueiras did not look too happy.

However after about 2 minutes, the Frenchman made the call.

Figueiras: J♦ J♣

The board came A♠ 2♥ 8♦ K♥ 8♠ and Figueiras doubled up to 7,300,000. Lambertz was left with 6,900,000.

6.47pm: Garat doubles through Lambertz
Vincent Garat moved all in from middle position for 1,090,000 and it was passed to Felix Lambertz who reraised all in from the small blind. Yohan Figueiras was in the big blind with over 3 million but he did not fold instantly. The Frenchman made some calculations, rechecked his cards several times and eventually mucked.

Lambertz: 10♠ 10♥
Garat: 8♣ 8♠

The Q♣ A♦ 2♠ flop helped neither player but the 8♥ on the turn gave Garat a big advantage. The river was the K♣ and the Frenchman doubled up to over 2 million, Lambertz still has over 10 million and the chip lead.

Sacha Israel moved all in for his last ten big blinds or so and Nicolas Hamouni made the call in the big blind.

Hamouni: A♣ J♣

The board came K♣ J♦ 7♣ 3♣ 4♥ . Israel flopped a set but Hamouni turned the nut flush to create the official final table. Full chip counts and seat draw to follow.

6.02pm: Oleg Vasylchenko eliminated in 10th place (€16,200)
Oleg Vasylchenko is out, he moved all in with A♠ 8♣ and Felix Lambertz quickly called in the big blind with 10♥ 10♦ . A board of J♣ 6♥ 2♠ K♠ 8♠ ] saw the Ukrainian dispatched.

5.53pm: Medjahed survives again
Abdelkader Medjahed has managed to double up again. All in for 1.5 million with A♥ Q♣ , he was in trouble against Yohan Figueiras’ A♣ K♣ but the board came Qâ™  A♦ 9♥ 4♦ J♣ and Medjahed caught a three-outer to survive. He now has 3 million, Figueiras dropped to 2.3 million.

5.44pm: Lambertz hits massive double up against Vasylchenko
A huge pot for Felix Lambertz. He had called a 625,000 bet on a 3♦ A♣ 10♥ flop against Oleg Vasylchenko before the Ukrainian also bet 1.125 million on the 6♥ turn. Lambertz thought for several minutes before moving all in and Vasylchenko eventually made the call.

The river was the 7♣ and Lambertz moved onto roughly 8 million. Vasylchenko dropped back down to 1.7 million.
