With the conclusion of the PokerStars Championship in Barcelona, is the addition of another player to the Player of the Year final in the Bahamas next January.
This year, the PokerStars Championship Player of the Year contest is a little different to what has come before. Each event features its own leader board, with points awarded to players in all events. The player finishing at the top of that leader board earns a package to the PokerStars Caribbean Adventure where they’ll compete against other leader board winners in a $100,000 winner takes all event.
Barcelona leader board winner: Koray Aldemir
Aldemir cashed four times in Barcelona, reaching three final tables — the best of those being his third place in the €50,000 Super High Roller event.
10K No Limit Turbo: 2nd place (€70,407)
50K Super High Roller: 3rd place (€528,500)
25K No Limit Hold’em: 17th place (€43,080)
€2K No Limit Hold’em: 5th place (€73,930)
Aldemir will now line up alongside the other leader board winners.
Bahamas: Bryn Kenney
Panama: Chris Hunichen
Macau: Nick Petrangelo
Monte Carlo: Daniel Dvoress

All of that will play out in the Bahamas next January, but not before the final place at the table is decided in Prague this December.
