Season 5 of the Latin American Poker Tour is finished, and two of its top players are walking away with top honors in the LAPT Awards. Nevertheless, there are still votes that need counting.

Daniel Ospina has won Player of the Year and a season’s worth of main event buy-ins. Ospina has long been fighting for this honor. Last season, the Colombian placed fourth on the overall leaderboard despite being the best short-handed player of Season 4. In Season 5, Ospina made sure he took the top overall spot. You can now expect to see him on every stop of LAPT Season 6.

LAPT Peru champion Jordan Scott did more than win a title in Season 5. He also picked up the honor of Best Online Qualifier. Scott pocketed $168,210 for his win in Lima. His LAPT Awards win has earned him six $215 tickets that he can use for any LAPT qualifiers during the year.
