Home / Uncategorized / LAPT7 Chile: Lessa, Martin, El-Kher, Minond Out

They’ve yet to reach the first break of Day 3, but already 11 players from the day’s starting field of 32 have been sent railward. Over the last half-hour came the most recent three knockouts.

Brazil’s Mateus Lessa fell in 25th after taking his last 215,000 chips up against Raul Pino of Panama. Lessa had 10â™  10♦ and needed help against Pino’s Qâ™  Q♣ , but the K♣ 3â™  2♥ Q♥ 9â™  run out was less than helpful, and Lessa left in 25th.

Chile’s Sergio San Martin next went out in 24th after putting his last 194,000 in with A♦ Q♣ and failing to pair up against Robert Lipkin’s 7♣ 7♥ . Denmark’s Henrik El-Kher — the lone remaining European — soon followed in 23rd.

And soon after that a super-short Oded Minond had his last 61,000 at risk versus Guilherme Coutinho’s Q♦ J♥ . The community cards came 10♣ A♦ 2♦ , then 6♦ , then J♣ and the Argentinian was done in 22nd.

Minond and El-Kher earned a little more for outlasting Martin and Lessa, each getting $6,200 while the earlier two bustouts took $5,400 apiece. Follow all of the payout information on the Prizepool and payouts page.
