A total of 32 players were eliminated during the first four hours today, including Thiago Nishijima in 16th.

Following an opening raise by Jose Torre, Nishijima pushed his last 415,000 in the center and Torre called without hesitating, Nishijima had K♣ Q♣ , Torre A♣ K♦ , and after a 7♣ J♦ 6♠ K♥ 3♥ runout the Brazilian was done.

Soon the Peruvian Nestor Silva would fall in 15th in a blinds battle versus Ariel Celestino, and just a moment later came another hand that saw Gerardo Godinez raise, Carlos Sobenes call, then a short-stacked Claudio Moya put his last 64,000 in and both Godinez and Sobenes call the small reraise.

The remaining pair then checked down the Q♦ 7♥ Q♥ 9♥ 4â™  board, Godinez showed Q♣ 10♦ for trips, and Sobenes J♦ 9♥ . Moya showed one of his cards — an ace — before mucking then leaving to collect 14th-place prize money.
