LAPT8 Uruguay: Maps and Treasure

The numbers are in.

The 2015 LAPT8 Uruguay Main Event drew a total of 267 entries.

This brings the official prize pool up to $776,970. Aside from the trophy, this year’s LAPT Uruguay champion will also win $155,730.


Our champion won’t be the only person to receive a large payout for their efforts. Everyone who makes the final table will be guaranteed $19,580 and a total of 39 players will cash in this event.

For making their way past the bubble, players will get $5,360 payday.

Argentina had the largest showing this event with 160 entries, nearly 60 percent of the field.

Brazil came in at a distant second with 50 entrants while the home country of Uruguay comes in at third with 46 entries.

Only 17 of the entries for this tournament came from outside South America so chances are good the trophy is staying somewhere on this continent.
