If you ever want to know the thought processes of a Super High Roller poker player, during a real-life hand when the stakes are high, then the six minutes in this video below are absolutely priceless.

Igor Kurganov and Sorel Mizzi played a fascinating hand in the $100,000 Super High Roller earlier in the week, which ended when Kurganov folded the second nuts to a three bet jam on the river from Mizzi.

Sorel Mizzi: Did he have it?

Sarah Herring, of PokerStars.tv, tracked both men down to hear their thoughts — and there are a lot of thoughts.

Before that, here’s the hand history (with thanks to Two Plus Two, where the hand has been much discussed).

Blinds 2,000-4,000, ante 500

Kurganov (SB): 383,000
Mizzi (BB): 379,000

Action is folded to Kurganov in the small blind. He calls 2,000. Mizzi, in the big blind, raises to 13,000. Kurganov calls.

The flop comes: Q♦ 5♥ 3♣ . Both players check.

The turn is 2♥
Kurganov checks, Mizzi bets 17,500. Kurganov calls.

The river is J♥ . Kurganov checks, Mizzi bets 40,000. Kurganov check-raises 155,000. Mizzi moves all in for 348,500 total.

Kurganov folds, and shows K♥ 3♥ , the second nuts. Mizzi mucks.

Here’s what they thought:

Both players are now in the High Roller event.
