There’s a holiday present awaiting PokerStars Pennsylvania players this weekend. It’s a big one, too — the third (and largest ever) installment of Pennsyl-MANIA.

The two previous versions of PokerStars PA’s marquee $200 buy-in no-limit hold’em tournament have been among the biggest events on the site all year.

The first Pennsyl-MANIA in May had a $250K guarantee, and ultimately more than doubled it to create a record $515,964 prize pool.

The second Pennsyl-MANIA in August upped the guarantee to $350K, and again players came out in big enough numbers to push the prize pool higher.

For Pennsyl-MANIA Part 3 — P3nnsyl-MANIA, if you like — there will be a $500,000 guaranteed prize pool, the largest in the site’s history.

The two-day tournament starts Sunday, December 27 at 5 p.m. ET. As noted, the buy-in is $200, and players will be able to re-enter up to five times during late registration.

There are other events happening as well, including the first-ever Pennsyl-MANIA side event, a $1,000 buy-in High Roller happening Sunday, Dec. 27 at 6:30 p.m. ET.

The High Roller allows up to three re-entries, has a $50,000 guarantee, and will play down to a winner Sunday night.

As with previous Pennsyl-MANIAs, there are lots of satellites available awarding entry into the big one. There’s also again a special Depositor Freeroll offering a chance to win a ticket simply by depositing to your PokerStars PA account.

Those who deposit $30 or more before 1:59 p.m. ET on Sun., Dec. 27 while entering the bonus code “MANIA” will receive entry into the Depositor Freeroll starting at 2 p.m. on Sunday. The top 50 finishers in the freeroll will then earn a seat in the big Pennsyl-MANIA III happening later in the afternoon.

Like other “threequels” such as Return of the Jedi, Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade, and Toy Story 3, Pennysl-MANIA III is a can’t-miss!
