It was a big weekend for PokerStars US players with major events on all three sites.
Pennsyl-MANIA returned to PokerStars PA. The Michigan Classic played out at PokerStars MI. And players at PokerStars NJ participated in the New Jersey Classic.
All told, players won $700,000 across the three events. Here’s a quick rundown of how each tournament went and which players emerged as champions.
Pennsyl-MANIA awards $350K, champ ‘Paulie_Card$’ wins $56K
The fifth running of Pennsyl-MANIA over on PokerStars PA drew a big field of 1,130 entries.
From that field the top 159 finishers got to divide the $350,000 prize pool. In the end it was “Paulie_Card$” topping everyone to claim the victory and a $56,237.04 first prize.
PokerStars PA players have now won over $2.15 million in five Pennsyl-MANIA events dating back to the first one in May 2020.
‘Omarrcomin’ wins $42K for topping Michigan Classic where players split $250K
The Michigan Classic also drew a crowd with 808 entries altogether.
The top 111 finishers ended up splitting the $250,000 prize pool. Claiming the largest share was “Omarrcomin” who earned a cool $42,420.69 for finishing first.
It was the second Michigan Classic this year, the first having played out in April. PokerStars MI players have now won $750,000 across the two events.
New Jersey Classic awards $100,000, ‘kyleorto86’ takes top prize, $18K
Finally over in the Garden State the New Jersey Classic played out at PokerStars NJ.
That event drew 350 entries with with the top 48 places paid. There was a six-figure prize pool in that one, too, at $100,000.
“kyleorto86” took top honors in the event, outlasting everyone to win a first prize of $18,460.81.
