What do you get when you add a two-time SCOOP champion, a two-time COOP champion, and a former SCOOP Leaderboard champion? The answer is the final table of Event 19-H.
It was a fixed-limit Omaha Hi/Lo event – a game in which players can chop pots by winning either the hi hand or lo hand; win both and you scoop the lot. An even 120 players bought in for $2,100 created a tidy prize pool of $240,000, but in the end there could only be one. That player was two-time COOP winner and EPT11 Grand Final Super High Roller runner-up Dzmitry “Colisea” Urbanovich. The talented player from Poland had won both a SCOOP and WCOOP event last year, and now has a 2nd SCOOP title and $58,800.
A glance through the tournament lobby was like reading a who’s who of online poker. There was James “Andy McLEOD” Obst, Dan “djk123” Kelly, Calvin “cal42688” Anderson, Fedor “CrownUpGuy” Holz, Shaun “shaundeeb” Deeb – all of whom are fresh off either wins or final tables in this year’s SCOOP. Kevin “ImaLuckSac” MacPhee exited in 10th for $6,000, meanwhile the chip leader was a player chasing their 3rd SCOOP title – a Supernova who went by the name of Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi. The UK player had previously won a $1,050 NLHE event in 2014 for $169,121.50, defeating a final table that including both Fedor Holz and Dan Kelly, and a $215 NLHE event back in 2012 for $172,575.88.
Other notable players still in the field with just 2 tables remaining included the 2013 SCOOP Leaderboard champion, Eric “AceQuad” Brix, as well as EPT side-event winner João “Naza114” Vieira.
Final table
It would take more than 9 hours of play to get down to the final table, and when we got down to 8, we lost our first player relatively quickly. New Zealand’s AsjBaaaf picked up $7,200 for making the final table, and here’s how the chip stacks looked afterwards:

Eric “AceQuad” Brix eliminated in 7th ($9,600)
With the stakes at 2,500/5,000, chip leader Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi made it 5,000 to go from under the gun. It folded round to AceQuad on the button who raised to 7,500, which got a call from the initial raiser. The two saw a 3♣ K♥ A♣ flop, which Shakerchi checked, causing AceQuad to bet 2,500. Now, Shakerchi bumped it up to 5,000, and AceQuad exercised his raising option and made it 7,500, which was then raised again to 10,000 before AceQuad had to make the call. The 2â™ landed on the turn and it went check, raise, re-raise and AceQuad was all in and at risk with 7♣ A♥ 5♦ Aâ™ against Shakerchi’s Q♥ 5♣ 2♣ 4♥ . AceQuad would need the board to pair to chop the pot with a full house for the high, whilst Shakerchi was out front in both the high and low with his wheel straight and 5,4,3,2,A low. The river was the Jâ™ and we lost Eric “AceQuad” Brix in 7th place.
Lena900 gone in 6th ($12,000)
trelskig came in for 6,000 in the cut-off before the short stack, Lena900, made it 9,000 to go on the button. The action didn’t stop there, as Naza114 would make it 12,000 out of the small blind and both players would call. The flop was the 2â™ 3♣ Qâ™ and Naza114 began with a 3,000 bet; trelskig called and Lena900 bumped it to 6,000, Naza114 raised again and both players called – but by this point Lena900 was all-in. The 4♣ arrived on the turn and a side-pot began to build, with trelskig leading for 6,000 and Naza114 making the call. When the Jâ™ landed on fifth street Naza114 check-raised all-in and got a call.

Naza114 was safe, taking down the Hi pots with an ace-high flush, whilst trelskig won the Lo pots with the 6,4,3,2,A. Had the board paired on the turn or river, Lena900 would have survived with the full house, but as it didn’t, we had our 6th place finisher.
João “Naza114” Vieira eliminated in 5th place ($15,600)
A few orbits later and we had another bust-out. The stakes were 4,000/8,000 and Full-Grown kicked things off from the cut-out making it 8,000, before Naza114 raised to 12,000. raidalot got out of the way and when Full-Grown called we went to a flop. It fell 5♣ 3♦ Q♠and Naza114 wasted little time in trying to get the rest of his stack in the middle. His 4,000 bet was called and the turn was the 10♠. The 8,000 bet meant he had just 1,386 behind, and it would find its way into the pot after Full-Grown raised. The hands were then revealed:

Full-Grown: 4♥ 6♠A♦ 10♥
Full-Grown’s pair of tens was enough for the Hi, and while both players had an 8-lo, Full-Grown’s was better and he scooped the entire pot. Good game João “Naza114” Vieira.
Talal “raidalot” Shakerchi eliminated in 4th ($21,600)
trelskig opened from the button and Shakerchi bumped it up to 12,000. The other two players folded before trelskig called and the flop fell 8â™ 6♣ 4♦ . Raidalot’s 4,000 bet was called and the 3â™ landed on the turn. This time raidalot checked and it was trelskig doing the betting – 12,000, which was called. The K♣ on the river saw raidalot essentially move all in-in with an 8,000 bet and just 512 behind; trelskig raised and we had a player at risk. It was J♦ 10♣ 8♦ K♦ for raidalot, giving him two pair, but trelskig had flopped a set of sixes for the Hi. He also had an 8,6,4,3,A for the lo, and with that the two-time SCOOP champ was gone. With 27 event left in this year’s SCOOP, we’re sure it won’t be the last we see of Shakerchi.
Full-Grown gone in 3rd ($31,200)
With the stakes now at 5,000/10,000, Full-Grown had to get busy. With a stack of 59K, Full-Grown made it 10,000 on the button and met a raise to 15,000 from trelskig. Dzmitry “Colisea” Urbanovich got out of the way and Full-Grown called. The 5♣ 9♥ Kâ™ flop was checked by trelskig, which led to a 5,000 bet from Full-Grown and a call. The 8♣ on the turn saw trelskig lead out for 10,000, and the betting went back and forth until Full-Grown was all-in. He showed Aâ™ 6♣ 7â™ 8â™ , and it was A♣ 8♦ 5â™ 4♣ for trelskig. With a straight Full-Grown was actually a 58.8% favourite, but the 10♣ river changed everything. Trelskig had made his flush and Full-Grown would leave in 3rd with a handsome $31,200 prize.

Going into heads up play with the chip lead, trelskig managed to pull away even further. At one point he had Urbanovich down to around 100K, but the battle commenced and the chip lead swang each way. Urbanovich began to seem like the dominating player, building a 5/1 chip advantage.

trelskig was very low in chips by the final hand. A pre-flop raising war resulted in a flop of K♦ 7♣ J♦ , trelskig bet 8,000 and Urbanovich just called. trelskig then shoved for 10,240 on the 8♦ turn which was called, and the hands were:

Dzmitry “Colisea” Urbanovich: 2â™ 4♥ 3♦ 6♦
Urbanovich had his opponent absolutely dominated, and after the A♦ river his ace-high flush and 8,7,3,2,A Lo were enough to secure the win and his second SCOOP title and third COOP title.
