th’Kick Exits in Sixth Place After the Ladies Fail Him

The first elimination of the final table came in the 80,000/160,000 level when “th’Kick” raised to 560,000 from the cutoff and then called off his remaining 308,982 after ” lucylooose” three-bet to 1,840,000 from the small blind.

lucylooose: A♠ K♣ 8♣ 7♥
th’Kick: A♣ Q♣ Qâ™  2â™

th’Kick was ahead with queens, but they didn’t hold as the 8♦ A♦ K♦ flop delivered lucylooose two pair. Neither the 3♦ turn nor 7â™  river helped th’Kick, and he hit the rail in sixth place for $8,358.52.

Inferior Flush Sends Sk2ll_m0dR Home in Fifth

With the blinds at 100,000/200,000, “Sk2ll_m0dR” raised to 400,000 on the button holding the Aâ™  Qâ™  7♣ J♣ and lucylooose three-bet to 1,400,000 with the K♣ K♦ 4♣ 3â™  in the small blind. Sk2ll_m0dR made the call and then called off his remaining 963,899 after lucylooose bet 1,712,692 on the 8♣ 9â™  3♣ flop.

The 6♦ turn was of no consequence, while the 2♣ river gave both players a flush. lucylooose was best in that regard, which meant Sk2ll_m0dR was eliminated in fifth place good for $13,234.33.

Kang Ladders Up to Fourth

Jamie “Jamie_KK” Kang began the final table as the short stack, but he managed to hold on to fourth place. His demise came in the 100,000/200,000 level when he raised to 700,000 under the gun and then called off his remaining 742,268 after “Bjorin Kifs” three-bet to 1,882,932 on the button.

Bjorin Kifs: A♥ 9♥ K♦ Q♦
Kang: 10♦ 9♦ 7♠ 5♣

Kang was looking for mid cards, and while he found one on the A♣ 2♠ 7♣ flop, Bjorin Kifs maintained the lead with a pair of aces. The 3♥ turn was no help to Kang, and he took his leave in fourth place for $18,806.68 after the 8♠ bricked on the river.
