No blind increases for the duration of a tournament would be like playing a cash game for many hours hoping to bust your opponents, so increasing antes while the blinds stay the same is how you make things interesting. That is just what it was, interesting, at least until play got down to the final six players. Day One action was fast and furious getting through 1,160 players before the end of the first 44 levels.

Of the 1,170 players to make the money only four of them belong to Team PokerStars or Team Online. The best finisher of the group was Joao “jomane” Nunes with a 116th place finish for $94.88. The next best was Marcin “Goral” Horecki in 441st followed by Greg “G DeBora” DeBora (1,041st) and finally Martin “AABenjaminAA” Hruby (1,108th).

Joao “jomane” Nunes was the top Team PokerStars member.

With two levels left in Day One 18 players remained, by the time the final two levels ended only 10 players remained. Here is a look at the final 10 players stacks going into Day Two.

1st: Sambolz – 9,717,427 in chips
2nd: RusAttack666 – 8,856,468 in chips
3rd: Rosie1986 – 4,782,025 in chips
4th: name3d – 4,122,973 in chips
5th: Nymesys – 3,225,650 in chips
6th: FRATZZZEEE – 2,427,510 in chips
7th: seanienoone1 – 2,130,798 in chips
8th: kadka – 1,831,164 in chips
9th: Skifferlic – 1,740,913 in chips
10th: Rooz’nDaal – 700,072 in chips

Day Two:

Starting Day Two with a 35,000 ante and blinds at 5/5 the players would start with hand for hand play as they played to the final table. Eventually Rooz’NDaal would get his short stack in with K♦ Q♣ for top pair on the J♣ 10♣ 10â™  Q♦ board. Unfortunately for him name3d was holding 10♥ 5â™  for the flopped middle set. The 3♣ on the river meant Rooz’NDaal would be observing the rest of this tournament from the rail.

The final 9, by seat, looked like this:

Seat 1: name3d (5881710 in chips)
Seat 2: seanienoone1 (1454778 in chips)
Seat 3: FRATZZZEEE (5337077 in chips)
Seat 4: Rosie1986 (3837010 in chips)
Seat 5: kadka (1105549 in chips)
Seat 6: Nymesys (6291269 in chips)
Seat 7: Skifferlic (2303283 in chips)
Seat 8: RusAttack666 (9545071 in chips)
Seat 9: Sambolz (3779253 in chips)

First three go fast:

The first player to be eliminated from the final table came when kadka ran into the pocket rockets of name3d. By the time the hand was complete name3d only needed one of those aces to claim the pot, the A♥ , with four hearts on the board to give him the nut flush.

Just two hands later FRATZZZEEE and seanienooone1 mixed things up after a Jâ™  5â™  9♥ flop. The J♥ 10♥ of seanienooone1 was looking set for a double up against FRATZZZEEE’s J♣ 3♥ . That double up was not to be though thanks to a 3â™  on the river eliminating seanienooone1 in 8th place for $1,363.95.

Nymesys was the next player looking to get a double up, and when he got dealt A♦ A♠ in early position he thought he was on his way. He wasted no time getting all his chips in the middle after the turn with the 6♦ 5♥ K♦ 7♣ board. He was called by Sambolz who was holding 9♠ 8♦ for the straight leaving him with no outs and eliminating him in seventh place.

Play slows down:

After the first three quick eliminations the stacks were a bit deeper which resulted in a slow down in bust outs. The first player to finally get eliminated in sixth place was Rosie1986 when their 7♠ 7♥ was not good against the 8♣ 8♠ of FRATZZZEEE.

FRATZZZEEE eliminated the next player in another all in pre-flop pot, this time he was holding A♦ 10♦ against the K♣ J♣ of Skifferlic. With the 3♥ 2♠ 9♠ 9♣ Q♦ board Skifferlic exited the tourney in fifth place for $4,744.20.

The next bust out would not come for another hour and six minutes. In that time RusAttack666 managed to build a substantial lead over his opponents and only added to that stack with the elimination of Sambolz.

Lets see the numbers:

After playing three handed for about 30 minutes the players decided to take a look at the numbers. After some technical difficulties the tournament was finally paused for the numbers to be reviewed. After some brief discussion the players agreed to the following deal:

RusAttack666 – $16,241.86
name3d – $11,093.79
FRATZZZEEE – $10,902.66

$1,500 + Watch left to play for

Shortly after the deal was reached the players started to get a little more active and the all-ins started to roll in. Exiting the tournament in third place FRATZZZEEE when he shoved all-in over the open of RusAttack666 with K♥ 8♠ . When the K♠ Q♠ of RusAttack666 was flipped over he was looking for one of this three outs to come to keep him alive, which did not happen.
