This week and next week the MicroMillions 7 tournament series will take most of the headlines. Turning two bucks into eight grand opening doors for all players to step up and play for big money. Tonight’s $500,000 guarantee Sunday Warm-Up is the next level of that progression that players take before they hit up the $2K/$4K high roller games, hoping to turn $215 into a six-figure payday. Count_NN and Broose51 would chop-up the final two spots tonight with Count_NN taking home a $97,119.25 with the win.

An early start to the final two tables tonight as the blinds barely cracked 30K/60K ante 6K when dulek_jason pushed sparkeythe4th all-in preflop holding pocket sevens 7♠ 7♣ . sparkythe4th obligated with a call holding A♠ 4♦ . Despite notching a pair 2♦ 8♦ 9♥ K♥ 4♣ sparkythe4th would exit in 18th place ($2,017.20).

The early start to the penultimate table did not slow down the eliminations as Lilleroi (17th place, $2,017.20) and sandman201 (16th place, $2,017.20) found the cashier’s window within five minutes. After the quick start the players settled down a bit and coasted into the ninth hourly break with 15 still alive.

First five minutes back however was a little allegro as Reshafim87 and WCOOP champ danface lost all their chips on back-to-back hands both taking home $3,025.80 as 13 players remained viable for the $105,567.70 sitting up top. As the blinds moved up to 50K/100K ante 10K outragous76 (12th place, $4,034.40) and bbadbboy (13th place, $3,025.80) took leave getting the tournament closer to those final nine big money spots.

-#1Lottery- would gun down MAFIADEAL37 in 11th place ($4,034.40) after hitting a set of eights to take away a 1.1 million chip pot as the blinds moved up to 65K/130K ante 13K. It would take another 15 minutes of sparring before vip25459, kltpn, and LoosControl got into a preflop raising war until 4.78 million chips and kltpn’s tournament life sat in the middle. vip25459 would take leave but LoosControl stuck around while flipping up big slick Kâ™  Aâ™  . kltpn’s Qâ™  A♣ couldn’t catch up on the 7♦ 2â™  3♥ 7♣ 10♦ board firing up the final table below:

Cooled off

A lengthy wait for the first elimination as the players enjoyed the low blinds getting through the 80K/160K ante 16K level with the full nine. But, as the blinds moved up to 100K/200K ante 20K dulek_jason would min-raise from early position as Broose51 shoved for 4.1 million from the small blind. dulek_jason looking for another successful Sunday Major final table (2nd place Sunday Million in 2012 banking $177K) made the call with A♠ K♠ . Broose51 did one better flipping up pocket aces A♣ A♥ as both players watched the 10♠ 7♠ 10♣ J♣ J♥ board tumble out some excitement but still leaving dulek_jason out in ninth place ($5,379.20).

15 minutes are up

Shortly before the blinds moved up to 125K/250K ante 25K grind4fame took a leap from early position, shoving for 2.2 million as it folded around to LoosControl in the small blind who jumped it up to 6.5 million. Broose51 folded the big blind as grind4fame was looking to extend the 15 minutes of fame with pocket treys 3♥ 3♣ . LoosControl showed A♦ J♦ and was greeted with a jack in the door J♠ 8♥ 9♠ 7♠ K♠ to finish off grind4fame in eighth place ($8,405.00).

Not exactly VIP treatment

Just seven hands later with the blinds now at 125K/250K ante 25K vip25459 would shove for 2.44 million from the cutoff as LoosControl did the same from the small blind holding a suited big slick K♠ A♠ . vip25459 was down to one live card after showing the dominated K♣ Q♦ . A jack-high board J♣ 8♠ 7♦ 2♠ 6♠ favored the favorite as vip25459 was asked to join the general population in seventh place ($15,129.00).

Odds did not come in

Right now the MegaMillions lottery jackpot stands at $400 million. Just a couple bucks more than the six figures we are playing for tonight. -#1Lottery- was using the better odds of coming away a big winner here by playing in the Sunday Warm-Up instead of the 1 in 259 million shot of holding that winning MegaMillions ticket. -#1Lottery- would open shove for 1.1 million as it folded around to Cafl in the big blind who called with K♠ Q♠ . -#1Lottery- holding 9♠ A♣ watched the 1 in 136 shot hit as Cafl flopped a full house K♣ Q♣ K♥ A♥ 5♣ exited in sixth place ($21,853.00).

Ouch, ouch, and ouch

The 125K/250K ante 25K level would claim yet another player. 9.5 million chips in the middle and two big hands collided in the hand below:

Cafl showed pocket kings K♠ K♣ and Broose51 showed the aces A♠ A♥ . Any thoughts of hitting a two-outer went out the window on the flop 3♠ 9♠ A♣ 3♥ Q♠ as Broose51 hauled away the big pot and Cafl took away $28,577.00 in fifth place.

Lost control

After doubling up LoosControl in a 12.7 million pot qualle400 would be left with under a million chips and with blinds moving up to 150K/300K ante 30K spelled trouble for qualle400’s chances to win. Four hands later qualle400 would toss in 905,683 chips from the cutoff seat as Count_NN took up the offer to play in the big blind, calling with A♣ 3â™  . qualle400’s suited connector 8♣ 7♣ went looking for a piece of the board, and unfortunately came up with air 10♣ 5♦ 2â™  4â™  10♥ instead earning $38,663.00 in fourth place.

Out of control

Six hands later Count_NN and LoosControl would knot-up for a huge 21.3 million preflop pot with LoosControl covering by just over a million. Big slick for Count_NN going up against pocket deuces 2â™  2♦ for LoosControl. An ace on the flop 6♥ 3♥ A♥ 10â™  10♣ shipped the chip lead to Count_NN. The next hand LoosControl would toss in the 1.05 million going up against Broose51’s pocket eights 8♥ 8â™  this time. LoosControls’ K♣ 3♥ found no salvation on the 7♥ 10â™  Jâ™  4♣ 7♣ board finishing up in third place ($55,473.00).

Chopped then split

After one pause four-handed chop talks did not come back until heads-up as Count_NN and Broose51 decided the chips were close enough to make an even split each taking away $87,119.25 while leaving $10,000.00 on the table for tonight’s champ.

After the chop pause our final two would take a total of 20 minutes to decide tonight’s Sunday Warm-Up champion. Finally with the blinds up to 200K/400K ante 40K Broose51 and Count_NN got it all-in preflop. Check out the Sunday Warm-Up winning hand below:

No excitement on this one as Count_NN’s pocket kings Kâ™  K♥ took down the pocket fours 4♥ 4♦ of Broose51 who was forced to play the board 10♥ J♣ 10♦ J♦ Qâ™  naming Count_NN this week’s Sunday Warm-Up champion!
