With the High Rollers returning in March, there’s only one question: have you got the stuff?
What makes poker such a great game, or dare we say it, sport?
So many reasons. But one of our personal favourites is that complete unknowns can end up playing against the best in the world.
That just doesn’t happen in other sports. There’s no way your tennis-loving neighbour is going to take Serena Williams to three sets anytime soon, and your golf-obsessed pal will never be competitive in a full 18 alongside Tiger Woods.
But in poker, if you’ve got the guts, and you’ve got the money, you can sit down with the best.
And you’ll need both of those things in spades if you’re going to sit down with the High Rollers.
After the success of December’s series, a brand new High Rollers series is now on the PokerStars schedule for March, with $6 million in guaranteed prizes spread out across 19 events.
So if you’re already a High Roller, you’re working towards becoming one, or you’ve just got a lot of guts and a lot of money, then you might be interested in what follows…
