Emotional win for RobinPoker

This week, one Twitch Poker clip had thousands of us pretending we had something in our eye instead of admitting we were bawling them out.

Lukas “RobinPoker” Robinson’s dream was to become a full-time poker streamer like his idols, Fintan “easywithaces” Hand, Lex Veldhuis, and Jaime Staples. Late last year, with a small Twitch following already built, he decided it was now or never and left his job behind to pursue Twitch poker.

To kick-start his full-time Twitch grind, Robinson set out on a challenge to stream 1,000 hours in just 100 days, hoping to beat PokerStars Ambassador Arlie Shaban’s record.

A few weeks into streaming every day, his viewership was growing while his bankroll was taking some hits. His maximum buy-in off his own bankroll was $44 tournaments, so he fired up the $44 Bounty Builder on Sunday, January 24, amidst his regular grind.

Hours later, this happened:

What a win. What a streamer.

Keep it going, Lukas. We’re all rooting for you.
