Bolt
Dust off your Bolt jokes because this one came from out of the blue. Usain Bolt, the fastest man in the world is joining PokerStars to bring poker to the masses, and maybe taking on Kevin Hart in the process.
Bolt announced the news on his Facebook page, and then we wrote up the story, which you can read here. Expect a lot of fun, and probably some medals along the way.
World Series
The World Series of Poker is in full swing over in Las Vegas and it’s already been a busy week for members of Team PokerStars, as we reported late last week.
Highlight of all of them was arguably Daniel Negreanu’s second place in the Omaha Hi-Lo 8-or-Better, falling at the last hurdle in what was an extended tournaments against Abe Mosseri. As Martin Harris wrote, Negreanu has added a lot of close calls in this first week of play. Surely that seventh bracelet win is not far off.
