Join us for the live PokerStars Blog countdown here!

It’s here! The Million Dollar Hand is being dealt today! We’re nearly at the end of the ‘Road to 100 Billion’, which has been showering PokerStars players with cash, and today one player will win in excess of $100,000 just for winning one hand of poker. Today’s Mega Milestone is giving away $1,000,000 in total. Will your table catch hand #100,000,000,000?

Will you win the Million Dollar Hand?

You could win more than $100,000 at a micro-stakes cash game table if it does (and we’ve given away around $950,000 in the last few days already). Seriously, we are not kidding. PokerStars have run some pretty jaw-dropping promotions before but this really beats them all. The rest of the table will win a minimum of $10,000 each and, after paying out the table, whatever remains from $1,000,000 (yes, a million bucks!) will be spread across every other player who’s currently playing the same game, betting structure and stake in the Mega Milestone Stake Share.

We’ll be running a live blog in the lead up so do contact us on blog@pokerstars.com or tweet using the #100BnHands hashtag and we’ll try to keep you entertained as you watch the numbers tick over. Check the PokerStars Blog or @PokerStarsBlog Twitter account from around 4pm GMT.

We have four top tips for bagging the $100,000.

1) Grind multiple tables to increase the chances that you’re in for that magic Mega Milestone hand. Given the Stake Share deal, maybe mix a couple of different formats in. Try some limit, Stud or a slightly higher or lower stake than normal. It’s all worth a try…

2) Don’t be too nitty because milestone bonuses are worked out according to the number of VPPs you’ve accrued over the last 50 hands.

3) Do not fold pre-flop if the 100 Billionth Hand falls on your table. It would be a huge, massive, monstrous mistake. Make sure you jam all-in before your computer does something stupid.

4) Do not fold pre-flop if the 100 Billionth Hand falls on your table. It would be a huge, massive, monstrous mistake. Make sure you jam all-in before your computer does something stupid. Yes, this has been repeated twice because it’s that important. Do not fold pre-flop if you hit a milestone hand. Do not fold pre-flop if you hit a milestone hand. Got it? Good.

And one last thing… Do not fold pre-flop if you hit a milestone hand.
