Winter Series begins tonight on both PokerStars PA and PokerStars NJ

Attention poker players in Pennsylvania and New Jersey!

It may be cold outside, but the action will be heating up considerably on PokerStars PA and PokerStars NJ starting tonight with the start of the PokerStars and FOX Bet Winter Series!

From Jan. 21-31, both sites are hosting the tournament series featuring a variety of stakes and games plus huge guarantees.

PokerStars PA Winter Series features 45 events, $1M-plus guarantees

On the PokerStars PA side, there are 45 events scheduled with guarantees totaling just over $1 million. That’s $325,000 more than the guarantees of the inaugural Winter Series on PokerStars PA last year.

Buy-ins range from $10 to $1,000, with the $300 buy-in, $200,000 guaranteed Main Event set for Jan. 31.

40 events, $500K guarantees for PokerStars NJ Winter Series

At PokerStars NJ, there are 40 events with guarantees totaling $500,000. Again that’s a big boost over a year ago when the guarantees added up to $200,000.

In New Jersey the buy-ins go from $20 up to $750. The Main Event is also $300 to play, however, with a $100,000 guarantee.

In addition to the events, both sites are featuring satellites, Depositor Freerolls, Second Chance Freerolls and other winter fun along the way.

Cards go in the virtual air for Winter Series Event #1 on both sites starting at 7 p.m. ET tonight.
