After nearly two weeks of marathon play, the 2012 World Series of Poker has come down to the final nine. A little after midnight in Las Vegas, the nine top players bagged up their chips and said goodbye to them until late October.

After a few months to rest up and collect their thoughts, the remaining players will return to play down to the championship.

While Team PokerStars Pro fought long and hard for gold this year, it came up just a bit short. Team Pro Jan Heitmann scored the deepest finish with his 26th place exit, falling just short of a coveted final table spot.
