Wire Account Sign up screen - field descriptions

Fees: We cover all fees charged by the sending bank, but you may be charged a fee by your bank for receiving a wire transfer. The amount of the fee charged by receiving banks is normally approximately $30.00. For more information on your bank’s policy concerning fees for receiving wire transfers, please contact your bank directly.

Please make sure you provide the information below:

  • CLABE Number - This is your CLABE number. The CLABE (Clave Bancaria Estandarizada, Spanish for Standardized Bank Code) is a banking standard for the numbering of bank accounts in Mexico. The CLABE account code has 18 digits. The 18 digits of the CLABE follow this structure: Bank Code: 3 Digits, Branch Office Code: 3 Digits, Account Number: 11 Digits, Control Digit: 1 Digit
  • Bank Account Holder Name - This should be your name. It is filled in for you and cannot be changed.
  • Your address registered to your bank account - This is the address listed in your Stars Account and is filled in for you. If the address registered to your bank account is different, please update your address here and provide the address you have registered with your bank. We only allow wire transfers to bank accounts in your country of residence.
  • Phone Number - This is your phone number. If you have already given us your phone number in the past, it will be filled in for you.
  • IBAN Number - International Bank Account Number (IBAN) is a series of alphanumeric characters that uniquely identifies a customer’s account held at a bank anywhere in the world but currently adopted by European countries only. This field is mandatory for European countries and optional for all others. If you are unsure of your IBAN, please contact your Bank directly before proceeding with your withdrawal.
  • Swift Code - The Bank Identifier Code (BIC) is the unique identification code of a bank. It is necessary for sending money across foreign countries. A BIC code consists of eight or eleven continuous characters comprising: Bank Code 4 alphabetic characters identifying an individual bank, Country Code 2 letter ISO country code, Location Code 2 alphanumerical characters (except zero) identifying the location of the institution within the specific country, Branch Code 3 alphanumeric characters, (optional) identifying the specific office or branch
  • Bank Full Name - The full name of your bank. Please provide the full name of your bank and not just your bank's initials.
  • Bank Branch Address - This is the full address of your bank branch.
  • Comments - This field is optional and can be left blank.
