What is AstroPay Card?

AstroPay Card is a virtual prepaid card that you can use for online purchases. This means you can make deposits at websites associated with AstroPay without revealing your banking information. AstroPay is currently available in Argentina, Brazil, Bolivia, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico and Venezuela.

Registering an AstroPay account

Registering an AstroPay account is free and easy. Once set up, you can immediately buy an AstroPay card in a range of denominations, from USD $25-USD $500.

Brazil

You can buy AstroPay cards through online/real time local bank transfers, or pay in cash via Boleto Bancário.

Argentina

You can buy AstroPay cards through online local bank transfers; or you can obtain a Boleto receipt from your AstroPay account and pay in cash at designated affiliate stores.

Colombia

To buy an AstroPay card, you can transfer money from your bank account, deposit directly at a local bank, or pay in cash with Pago Referenciado.

Mexico

To buy an AstroPay card, you need to obtain a Boleto receipt from your AstroPay account, and pay through online bank transfers (via Bancomer, Santander, Banamex or HSBC bank accounts), directly at a local bank in cash or cheque, at an ATM, or at a local store (Oxxo)

Peru

To buy an AstroPay card, you need to obtain a receipt from your AstroPay account and pay at a local bank in cash, or via online bank transfer.

Uruguay

To buy an AstroPay card, you need to obtain a reference number from your AstroPay account, and pay in cash at a designated affiliate store.

Bolivia, Chile, Costa Rica and Venezuela

AstroPay cards are available as vouchers and can be purchased from various retailers.

How can I make purchases at PokerStars using an AstroPay Card?

AstroPay Card is fully integrated with the PokerStars cashier screen. When you click ‘Cashier’ and then ‘Buy Chips’, you will see an option to use AstroPay Card. Click on the AstroPay Card button and you will be presented with a deposit screen, where you must enter your AstroPay Card details (card number, expiry date & CVV), as well as the USD amount you wish to deposit. You do not have to deposit the full AstroPay Card value – partial deposits are possible. Once you have clicked ‘Submit’, your request will be sent for processing, and you will receive confirmation shortly after.

What will it cost me to use AstroPay Card at PokerStars?

There are no fees for using AstroPay Card at PokerStars. Players are responsible for any fees charged by their bank or by AstroPay when purchasing an AstroPay Card.
