Prize Terms and Conditions – Creators’ Cup powered by PokerStars
PokerStars Ambassadors in Brazil will be running a series of special edition Home Games, Creators’ Cup, from 14 April 2024 until 27 October 2024 ("Creators’ Cup Home Games"). Each Creators’ Cup Home Game will have a buy-in of $1.10. Winners of each Creators’ Cup Home Game will advance to the corresponding creator’s Semi-Final (each a "Semi-Final"). Winners of each of the seven Semi-Finals will win a trip to BSOP Millions 2024 taking place in São Paulo, to take part in the Creators’ Cup Final ("Final").
In addition to these prize terms and conditions, the General Customer Terms and Home Games terms and conditions for the website ("Site") on which you participate in the Creators’ Cup Home Games apply to your participation in the Creators’ Cup Home Games.
Creators’ Cup Home Games
Creators’ Cup Home Games will run on the following dates in 2024:
● Neymar JR: 28 April, 26 May, 9 June, 21 July, 25 August, 15 September, 27 October
● Akkari: 14 April, 12 May, 30 June, 14 July, 18 August, 8 September, 6 October
● Lali: 28 April, 19 May, 2 June, 21 July, 4 August, 15 September, 6 October
● Rafa: 21 April, 5 May, 9 June, 7 July, 4 August, 22 September,13 October
● Bi Coimbra: 14 April, 26 May, 2 June, 14 July, 11 August, 1 September, 13 October
● Sofia: 28 April, 5 May, 23 June, 7 July, 4 August, 8 September, 20 October
● Boo: 28 April, 19 May, 16 June, 14 July, 18 August, 29 September, 27 October
Semi-Finals
The winners of each of the Creators’ Cup Home Games will advance to the corresponding creator’s Semi-Final, each of which will run some time between 15-29 November 2024. The exact dates of each Semi-Final will be confirmed at a later stage. If a Creators’ Cup Home Game Winner is unable to take part in the Semi-Final for the creator corresponding to their Creators’ Cup Home Game, they will not be entitled to a place in another creator’s Semi-Final and their Semi-Final place will be forfeited and offered to another player in the order of the relevant Creators’ Cup Home Game results until a player who is able to take part is found.
Final
Winner of each Semi-Final ("Winner") will win a prize package ("Prize") to participate in the Final which will take place during BSOP Millions 2024 in São Paulo, Brazil some time between 15-29 November 2024. The exact date of the Final will be confirmed at a later stage. The Final will have a prize pool of R$ 100,000.00.
Who is eligible?
Participants in the Creators’ Cup Home Games must:
1. be resident in Brazil and have a verified and validated account on www.pokerstars.com; and
2. join a private Creator’s Cup Home Games club called "Creators’ Cup" by entering Club ID 4907064 and invitation code “creatorscup” in the Home Games lobby on the Site.
Prize Description
The Prize for each Winner will consist of the following:
● entry to the Final which will take place as part of BSOP Millions 2024;
● return economy class domestic flights (or alternative travel option) to São Paulo, Brazil;
● accommodation (to be selected by PokerStars) in São Paulo, Brazil; and
● transfers between the Winner’s arrival airport in São Paulo and the hotel.
Semi-Final Prize T&Cs
1. Travel can only be arranged from Brazil.
2. The Prize does not include any costs, taxes, fees, expenses and/or arrangements not expressly specified in the Prize Description above. Winners are solely responsible for, and PokerStars will not be liable to reimburse Winners for any such additional charges and expenses.
3. Winners must make their travel arrangements through PokerStars’ designated agent and use the carriers and providers selected by PokerStars or its designated agent. Winners must follow the itinerary provided by PokerStars or its designated agent.
4. It is the responsibility of the Winners to check any requirements for the airline, transport provider, hotel, event venue and any other supplier providing elements of the Prize. Winners are bound by, and must comply with, any terms and conditions set out on their event and travel tickets and the rules, regulations, requirements and policies of the transport provider, hotel, event venue, event promoter and any other supplier connected with the Prize. PokerStars is not responsible for any failure of a Winner to gain entry or re-entry to the transport, hotel and/or event, or to participate in any element of the Prize, due to any action/inaction on the part of the Winner.
5. It is the responsibility of the Winners to check and ensure that they satisfy all security requirements in relation to travel (including all requirements relating to passports and other documentation). PokerStars has no liability if a Winner is refused entry because they do not satisfy such requirements and Winners are solely responsible for all costs associated with refused entry.
6. It is the responsibility of the Winners to check any travel advisories relating to the travel destination and to determine what action to take in relation to any such advisories. PokerStars has no liability if a Winner does not make such checks, if they choose to travel despite the advice given in any relevant advisory or if they choose not to travel on the advice given in any relevant advisory (in which case PokerStars will not be obliged to offer a substitute prize).
7. It is the responsibility of the Winners to check whether any vaccinations and/or prescription medicines are recommended or required prior to travel and PokerStars has no liability in this respect.
8. It is the responsibility of the Winners to take out their own travel insurance in connection with their Prize. PokerStars will have no liability for any failure by a Winner to take out travel insurance and/or to comply with the terms and conditions of their travel insurance policy.
9. PokerStars has no liability for lost or stolen tickets, vouchers, certificates and/or other documentation connected with the Prize.
10. All elements of the Prize are strictly non-transferable, non-exchangeable and may not be re-sold. No cash or any other alternative is available for any element of the Prize. No alternative dates are available.
11. If any element of the Prize becomes unavailable, or if a Winner is unable to use/take part in any element of the Prize, for any reason beyond PokerStars’ reasonable control, PokerStars is not obliged to offer an alternative prize or any cash alternative or compensation. If a Winner is unable to go on the trip to the BSOP Millions 2024, the entire Prize package will be forfeited and offered to another player in the Semi-Final in which such Winner participated in the order of the relevant Semi-Final results, until a winner who is able to attend is found.
12. Winners must not do anything that may bring PokerStars, any of its group companies or its commercial partners into disrepute. PokerStars reserves the right to take appropriate action (including the removal of any element of the Prize) if a Winner acts in a way that PokerStars reasonably considers to bring PokerStars, any of its group companies or its commercial partners into disrepute.
13. PokerStars is not liable for any loss, theft, damage or injury caused or sustained by a Winner as a result of participating in their Prize (except that PokerStars will be liable for death or personal injury arising from PokerStars’ negligence or for fraudulent misrepresentation).
14. Prizes may be replaced with a substitute prize of equal or greater value, if circumstances beyond PokerStars’ control make it necessary to do so.
