It’s almost time! Regular viewers of Lex Veldhuis on Twitch already know about it, but if you haven’t heard, Lex Not Live 2021 starts next week!
The six-day series runs May 18-23. That means things will get going just as the SCOOP Afterparty concludes.
There are 18 events total on the schedule, with buy-ins ranging from $11 to $55. Events cover an assortment of variants and formats. Variants include:
- no-limit hold’em
- 6+ hold’em
- pot-limit Omaha (including 6-card PLO)
- Fusion (where you start with two hole cards and potentially end with four)
Meanwhile besides standard multi-table tournaments, there are also:
- Zoom events (including a heads-up one)
- progressive knockout bounty events
- a Win the Button event
- a FU Flipout all-in shootout event
Highlights include a $55 High Roller event on Wed., May 19. Meanwhile players can also look ahead to the $33 Main Event on the series’ final day, Sun., May 23.
There will be a number of Main Event satellites as well, including $1 Step 1 satellites awarding tickets into a $5.60 Step 2 satellite in which players can win $33 Lex Not Live Main Event tickets.
In order to play those Main Event satellites, players will need to have their Twitch and PokerStars accounts linked in order to enter. The satellites will also require a daily changing password, released on Lex’ Twitch channel.
Continuing the “community” theme, there will also be a “Mandatory Discord Call Home Game” scheduled during the series. For that one, players will need to register in advance and while playing will be required to take part in a voice call with their table mates for the entire tournament. It’s not “live,” but it’s about as close as it gets!
Just like at Lex Live events, there will be other fun happening along the way as well.
Players in eligible markets with Twitch-linked accounts will also have a chance to win PokerStars chests. The chests will be dropped daily while they watch, with awards ranging from single $1 satellite tickets to $33 Main Event entries.
Also, you’ll notice on the schedule that Fri., May 21 is an “off day” for the series. That won’t be an off day for Lex Not Live, however, as there will be a variety of community-focused activities taking place. These will include online video games and an Amazon Movie Watch Party!
In other words, there’s a lot happening next week, and all of it ought to provide a ton of poker-related fun for Lex’ Twitch community!
