Instant eChecks: Returned deposits and immediate access to funds

What is a returned deposit?

eCheck and INSTADEBIT deposits are credited immediately to your user account, but the debit from your bank account can take up to 7 calendar days to clear.

If we can’t debit those funds from your bank account, we’ll debit the amount from your user account balance. This is what we call a return or returned deposit. If you don’t have enough funds to cover the debit, your user account will have a negative balance. Usually, players can use uncleared deposits to play, but when a return occurs, it's our policy to remove the usual access to those funds. You can no longer play with funds from an uncleared deposit. To check when an eCheck deposit clears at our end, go to the 'Cashier' and access the link 'Uncleared Deposits'.

If a return and funds debit are necessary, you’ll receive an automatic email with information on how you can settle your account.

What happens when a deposit is returned?

When an eChecks (or INSTADEBiT) deposit is returned:

  • We’ll debit the amount from your user account balance.
  • If you don’t have enough funds to cover the debit, your account will have a negative balance.
  • Any deposits you make after this time using these methods will remain uncleared (unavailable for you to use) for 7 calendar days.
  • You can only play, withdraw or transfer funds with your cleared balance. The balance from ‘Uncleared Deposits’ is unavailable for any of those actions.

How to repay a negative balance?

You can settle a negative balance with us in two different ways:

  • By making a new deposit with any available method in the 'Cashier,' including eChecks and INSTADEBIT.
  • By receiving a player-to-player transfer.

To reinstate your immediate access to uncleared deposits:

  • You'll need to have your negative balance fully repaid.
  • You'll need to have at least 3 new fully cleared eChecks deposits for a total equal to or higher than the amount of all returns combined. For example:
    • 2 returns for $75 each will require 3 new deposits of $50 each.
  • You can't have any other eChecks (or INSTADEBiT) returns.
