OXXO: Deposit instructions

 

To make a deposit using an OXXO voucher, follow these steps:

1. Log into your account and go to the 'Cashier'.
2. Press 'Deposit' and choose 'STARS TRANSFER' from the list.
3. Confirm your preferred currency (if applicable).
4. Pick one of the suggested deposit amounts or enter a different one in the field.
5. Type a deposit bonus code, if you have one, and hit the 'Deposit' button.
6. Finally, enter your INE number (Instituto Nacional Electoral, 'Credencial para votar'). Choose 'OXXO' in the 'My Bank' drop-down menu and the amount that you wish to deposit in your local currency.

This is how you get your bar-coded OXXO voucher. The voucher is valid for only three days from the date and time of its creation. Now you can go to an OXXO store with your physical copy of the voucher and pay its exact value.

Once that's done, the funds will be credited to your account within one business day. You'll also get an email notification from us about your deposit.

OXXO vouchers have a unique reference number and cannot be re-used. You must generate a new voucher every time you want to make a deposit with OXXO.

If you've made previous deposits with STARS TRANSFER, you may need to have your registered bank details removed to complete an OXXO deposit. Contact us if that's the case.
