How does STARS TRANSFER work?

You can complete your STARS TRANSFER in two ways:

 

Online banking

Transfer funds through your bank’s online banking service.

You must:

• Register the third-party beneficiary account
• Use the same registered bank account for deposits

If required, contact your bank for help registering the beneficiary.

 

Offline deposits

You can also deposit:

• At a bank branch
• At an ATM

Use the beneficiary details provided in the 'Cashier'.

Offline deposits can take up to 3 business days.

 

What should I know before using STARS TRANSFER?

• The third-party processor may charge fees for currency conversion or withdrawals.
• You can only use bank accounts registered in your name to deposit or withdraw with STARS TRANSFER.
• Do not request more than one set of deposit instructions for the same deposit.
• The previous STARS TRANSFER deposit must be completed before asking for another one.
• Request new instructions from the 'Cashier' for every new deposit.
• Always deposit the exact amount stated in the instructions.
• Deposits through Caixa Bank in Brazil are not available between 23:59 and 07:00.

Slightly lower deposits may still be credited in full.

5. Choose your preferred currency, if applicable.
6. Select a suggested deposit amount or enter your own. Enter the amount in your local currency.
7. Enter a bonus code, if you have one.

9. Enter your local identification details:
   • Brazil: Enter the 'Número de inscrição' on the front of your CPF.
   • Chile: Enter the 'Rol Único Tributario' from the front of your ID card.
   • Mexico: Enter the 'Clave de elector' from the front of your INE card.
   • Peru: Enter your 'Cédula de identidad' from the front of your ID card.
10. Choose your bank or store from the drop-down list.

What bank details are used for withdrawals?

• If you used STARS TRANSFER within the last 12 months, saved bank details may appear automatically
• Otherwise, enter your bank details manually

 

How long do STARS TRANSFER withdrawals take?

• Processed within 72 hours
• Credited instantly after approval

Why is my STARS TRANSFER failing?

Common reasons include:

• Temporary connectivity issues with the service. Wait and try again later.
• The beneficiary name does not match the name registered in your bank account. You can only use bank accounts registered in your name.
• Your bank is experiencing temporary issues. Try again later.

The bank account or branch number does not have the correct number of digits. If your number is shorter than expected, add leading zeros.

 

What should I do if I want to use a different bank?

Contact Support to remove your current bank details before registering a new bank account.
