STARS TRANSFER allows you to transfer funds in your local currency directly from your bank account to your user account. You can complete your STARS TRANSFER in two different ways:
- Online: Through your bank's website:
- At the moment, we support online transactions from several banks such as Caixa, Santander, Itaú, Bradesco, Banco do Brasil, Banamex and Bancomer.
- You need to register our third-party partner's account on your bank's website. Then you must use your account with the same bank to transfer the funds.
- You can reach out to your bank customer service for more information.
- Offline: By using the beneficiary details to complete your payment at an ATM or bank branch.
- If you do not hold a bank account with any of the banks listed in your 'Cashier', you can complete the deposit by visiting your bank branch.
- In these cases, the funds can take up to 3 business days to reach your user account.
We don't charge any fees for STARS TRANSFER deposits. However, our third-party processor may apply them to convert your currency and process your withdrawals.
How do I deposit with STARS TRANSFER?
To deposit with this method, follow these steps:
- Go to the 'Cashier'. If you're on our website or using our mobile app:

- Press 'Deposit' and select 'STARS TRANSFER'.
- Choose your preferred currency (if applicable).
- Pick one of the suggested deposit amounts or enter a different one in the field. Enter the amount in your local currency.
- Type a deposit bonus code, if you have one.
- Hit the green button to continue.
- Enter the following according to your country:
- Brazil: Enter the 'Número de inscrição' on the front of your CPF.
- Chile: Enter the 'Rol Único Tributario' on the front of your ID card.
- Mexico: Enter the 'Clave de elector' on the front of your INE (Instituto Nacional Electoral) card.
- Peru: Enter your 'Cédula de identidad' on the front of your ID card.
- Choose your bank or store from the drop-down list.
- On the next screen, confirm your transaction details and submit your request.
The time frame for the credit of your funds will vary with the country you live in:
Brazil
Your deposit should be credited within 60 minutes as long as you send your payment:
- Via online banking
- From the same bank you selected in the 'Cashier.'
- For the exact amount you requested in the 'Cashier.'
- Within 24 hours of the request of deposit instructions.
- During business hours (no weekends or public holidays).
If any of the above guidelines aren't followed, your deposit could take up to 2 business days to be credited.
Chile
Your deposit should be credited within 60 minutes as long as you send your payment:
- Via online banking
- From the same bank or store you selected in the 'Cashier'
- For the exact amount you requested in the 'Cashier'
- During business hours (no weekends or public holidays)
If any of the above guidelines aren't followed, your deposit could take up to 3 business days to be credited.
Mexico
Your deposit should be credited within 48 hours (24 hours for Banorte) as long as you send your payment:
- From the same bank or store you selected in the 'Cashier'
- For the exact amount you requested in the 'Cashier'
- Within 48 hours of the deposit instructions being issued
- During business hours (no weekends or public holidays)
If any of the above guidelines aren't followed, your deposit could take up to 3 business days to be credited.
Peru
Your deposit should be credited within 60 minutes as long as you send your payment:
- For the exact amount you requested in the 'Cashier'
- During business hours (no weekends or public holidays)
If any of the above guidelines are not followed, your deposit could take up to 3 business days to be credited.
- Don't request more than one instruction for the same deposit.
- Wait until you receive your previous STARS TRANSFER deposit before requesting a new one.
- Request new instructions in the 'Cashier' for every new deposit.
- Deposits through Caixa Bank (Brazil) are not available between 23:59 and 7:00.
- Make sure to deposit the exact amount given in the instructions. Even if it's slightly lower, we'll credit the full amount.
How do I withdraw using STARS TRANSFER?
To withdraw funds, follow these steps:
- Go to the 'Cashier'. If you're on our website or using our mobile app:

- Press 'Withdraw'.
- Enter your withdrawal amount.
- If you have any pending automatic withdrawals, you'll see:
- The amount
- The method and account
- Any remaining amount after the automatic withdrawals
- If you don't have any pending automatic withdrawals, choose 'STARS TRANSFER'.
- Confirm by hitting the green button.
- If you have used this method in the past 12 months, your bank account details will appear. Otherwise, you'll need to re-enter the details.
- Finally, submit your request.
Once you have submitted your withdrawal request, give us up to 72 hours to process your transaction.
You'll receive an automated email with your transaction details when that's done.
I can't deposit or withdraw with STARS TRANSFER. Why?
Here are some of the most common reasons for a failed transaction:
- There are temporary connectivity issues. Try again later.
- The beneficiary name entered doesn't match the one in your registered bank details. You can only use bank accounts under your name to deposit or withdraw with STARS TRANSFER.
- Your bank is having temporary issues. Try again later. If you want to deposit using a different bank, ask us to remove your current bank details so you can register new ones.
- The bank details don't have the right amount of digits. If your account number and branch number have fewer digits, add zeros at the beginning.
