Disconnect Extra Time (DET)

When a tournament hits the money, we want the results to come from actual poker play. Not someone’s bad internet. So if a player disconnects near the end, they get a bit of extra time to hop back in. They don’t get blinded out right away.

The tournament clock pauses during these disconnects, so the blind level doesn’t move. This stops anyone from abusing the system by disconnecting on purpose.

Most players see this as fair. A small delay is worth the protection it gives everyone.
