How do I fix connection-related error messages?

  • 2/67 and 2/87
    • Restart your computer and network equipment.
    • Turn off any proxy server or virtual private network running on your computer.
    • Check that your security software isn't blocking the PokerStars software.
  • 2/83
    • Restart your computer and network equipment.
    • Turn off any proxy server or virtual private network running on your computer.
    • Make sure Port 80 is open on your router.
    • Check that your security software isn't blocking the PokerStars software.
  • 2/89
    • Turn off any proxy server or virtual private network running on your computer.
  • 3/0, 6/0 and 2/99
    • Restart your computer and network equipment.

How do I fix other PokerStars error codes?

  • 2/79 - Access denied
    • File-saving issues with the PokerStars Windows software.
    • Reinstall our software with a Windows account that has Administrator rights
  • 2/1000
    • macOS update error
    • Reinstall with a macOS account that has Administrator rights.
    • In Terminal, enable the helper tool by entering:
      sudo launchctl enable system/com.starstechnologies.updater
  • 674/1064 - "You are already logged in from another computer...."
    • Log out of your PokerStars account on any other device before logging in again.
  • -101, -102 and -105
    • Restart your computer and network equipment.
    • Close any other software using internet bandwidth on your computer.
    • Turn off any proxy server or virtual private network running on your computer.
    • Check that your security software isn't blocking the PokerStars software.
  • Disk write error
    • If the Windows installer file doesn't run in your web browser, try a different one (Chrome, Safari, etc.).
    • Right-click on the installer file and select 'Run as administrator'.
    • Temporarily uninstall your security software and rerun the installer.
