What is the RSA Security Token?

The RSA Security Token is a small device linked to your account.

It is the most secure option for protecting your account.

You can no longer order new RSA Security Tokens.

If you already have a token, you can continue using it until it expires.

 

Can I share my RSA Security Token?

No. The RSA Security Token is linked to a specific account and can't be transferred.

• It cannot be used with third-party applications that use RSA tokens
• Third-party RSA tokens cannot be used with an PokerStars account

 

What should I do if I lose my RSA Security Token or OTP sheet?

Contact Support using the available contact options.

 

What is Restricted Access?

Restricted Access is a backup login feature.

It allows you to:

• Log in to the software
• Play tournaments you are already registered for

You can use Restricted Access if your RSA Security Token is lost or damaged and your OTP sheet is not accessible.

 

How do I use Restricted Access?

• Open the PokerStars software.
• Select 'Log in'.
• Enter your username and password.
• Select 'I have lost my token...'.
• Select 'Restricted Access'.

 

What is the battery life of the RSA Security Token?

The RSA Security Token battery typically lasts more than seven years.

Battery life is stable because the device is self-contained and has no moving parts.

Battery life may vary if the token is exposed to extreme temperatures.

 

When does the RSA Security Token expire?

Each RSA Security Token has a license valid for three years.

You can check the expiry date on the back of the token.

Once the token expires, it will stop working.
