Hand histories

You can check your hand histories at any time. There are a few ways to find and look through them. We cover each option below.

Ask for a hand history through the software

You can ask for a text copy of your hand history through our software. We’ll send it to your email.

  • Open 'Tools'.
  • Select 'History and Stats'.
  • Choose 'Get Hand History'.
• Mobile:
  • Tap the account icon.
  • Go to 'History'.
  • Choose 'Hand History'.
• Website:
  • If you're on the website version of our Help Center, simply

You can ask for:

• your last 100 hands.
• hands from a specific period.
• all hands from a tournament.
• a single hand.

We don’t archive Play Money or freeroll hands.

Instant Hand History

You can turn on 'Instant Hand History' to check your hands right in the software.

• Go to a table.
• Open the top-left menu.
• Select 'Table'.
• Choose 'Instant Hand History'.

A new window will open with your hands. If you close the software, you’ll lose them unless you saved them.

Hand Replayer

You can replay hands with our visual hand replayer.

• Tap on the previous hand icon in the top-left corner of the table, or
• select 'Visualize' in the 'Instant Hand History' window.

You’ll see a replay of the hand from start to finish.

Can I save my hand histories to my computer?

Yes, you can.

• Go to 'Settings' in the main lobby.
• Select 'Playing History' → 'Hand History'.
• Pick 'Save My Hand History'.
• Hit 'Apply Changes'.

We save your hands by default to:
C:\Program Files\PokefrStars\HandHistory\

To check or change the folder:

• Settings → Playing History → Hand History
• Look under 'Where To Save'.
• Select 'Change Folder' if needed.

You can also set how long we store them and choose the language.

The app doesn’t support saving hand histories.

How can I filter my hand histories?

We store hand histories in chronological order. For deeper analysis, you can use tools like PokerTracker or Hold’em Manager.

These programs let you upload your hands and filter results. Some may only support English hand histories.

You can download free trial versions and load your hands into them.

Automated report request

You can ask for hand histories, tournament data and player transfers through our chatbot.

• Log in to your account.
• Select 'Contact Us'.
• Type 'Poker' in the chatbot.
• Choose 'Poker' → 'Request a Report'
• Follow the steps to generate your report.

You can also type the report name directly and follow the prompts.

We’ll email you instructions to download the report.

Hand histories older than 7 years

We now keep poker hand histories for 7 years. After that, we delete them.

Make sure you save anything you want before that deadline.

This change helps us keep our data systems running smoothly for everyone.
