Server crashes and game outcomes

What happens during a server crash?

All transactions are recorded after each hand ends, including any pots you win or lose.

If a server crash stops a hand or tournament before finishing, any hands in progress are rolled back and treated as if they never happened.

 

What happens after a server crash?

Cash games

If a crash affects a hand in a cash game:

• All player accounts are reset to their pre-hand balance.
• The hand is marked as a misdeal.
• All blinds, antes, and bets are returned to the players.

 

Tournaments

If a crash happens during a tournament:

• All hands in progress are rolled back across all tables.
• Each player’s chip count is restored to Its pre-hand value.

When a tournament must be cancelled, we compensate players according to the 'Cancellations' section of our Tournament Rules.
