What types of bets can I place?

There are several bet types for different strategies and selections.

Single and multiple bets

• Single bet: one selection on a single event
• Multiple bet: two or more selections combined into a double, treble, or accumulator (up to 8 selections)

System bet

System bets combine selections across multiple bets:

  • Patent: 3 selections across 7 bets (includes singles)
  • Yankee: 4 selections across 11 bets
  • Lucky 15: 4 selections across 15 bets (includes singles)
  • Super Yankee (Canadian): 5 selections across 26 bets
  • Lucky 31: 5 selections across 31 bets (includes singles)
  • Heinz: 6 selections across 57 bets
  • Lucky 63: 6 selections across 63 bets (includes singles)
  • Super Heinz: 7 selections
  • Goliath: 8 selections across 247 bets

What is a single bet?

A Single Bet is a bet on one outcome in a single event.

The bet wins if the selected outcome happens.

 

How can I place a single bet?

1. Log in to your PokerStars account
2. Select a sport
3. Select an event
4. Select the odds for your chosen outcome
5. Check the bet slip details
6. Enter your stake
7. Select ‘Place Bet’

 

What is a multiple bet?

A multiple bet is a bet on two or more different events.

The bet only wins if all selections are correct.

 

How can I place a multiple bet?

1. Log in to your PokerStars account
2. Select a sport and event
3. Select odds to add selections to the bet slip
4. Add selections from different events
5. Select the multiple bet type from the bet slip
6. Enter your stake
7. Select ‘Place Bet’

 

What is a live or in-play bet?

A live (in-play) bet is a bet placed during a sporting event.

Live betting is available on the selected events listed in the 'In-Play' tab.

 

How do in-play odds work?

In-play odds can change during the event.

• If the odds decrease, the bet may be rejected, and you must resubmit at the new odds.
• If the odds increase, the bet is automatically accepted.
• You can enable auto-accept for decreasing odds

If a market is suspended, bets cannot be placed until it reopens.

 

How can I place a live or in-play bet?

1. Log in to your PokerStars account
2. Select a sport
3. Open the ‘In-Play’ tab
4. Select the odds for your chosen market
5. Check the bet slip details
6. Enter your stake
7. Select ‘Place Bet’

 

What is a system bet?

A system bet is a type of multiple bet that includes several combinations of selections.

You can win a system bet even if some selections are incorrect.

 

What is an example of a system bet?

Example: Yankee bet

• 4 selections
• 11 bets in total:
• 6 doubles
• 4 trebles
• 1 fourfold accumulator

At least two selections must win to return a payout.

 

How can I place a system bet?

To place a system bet:

1. Add multiple selections to the bet slip
2. Select ‘Other Multiples’ next to ‘Single/Accumulator’
3. Choose the system bet type from the drop-down menu

 

Can I place a Sports bet while playing other games?

Yes, you can place a Sports bet while playing other PokerStars games, including Poker.

To place a bet, open the Sports tab from the main lobby.
