Different Chests on PokerStars

What are the standard Chests on PokerStars?

Standard Chests are PokerStars Rewards Chests, part of the PokerStars loyalty program.

You earn them by playing real money poker and collecting reward points.

Each time you complete a progress bar, you unlock a Chest containing rewards based on your activity.

 

How do PokerStars Rewards Chests work?

There are six Chest levels, increasing in value:

Blue → Bronze → Silver → Gold → Diamond → Black

Your level depends on your recent activity.

 

How do I level up?

You move up a level by earning enough reward points to complete at least five progress bars within a four-week rolling period.

 

Are there other types of Chests?

Yes. PokerStars also offers promotional Chests, separate from PokerStars Rewards.

• Not linked to the progress bar
• Earned through promotions, game formats, or specific tasks

 

How do I get promotional Chests?

Promotional Chests are awarded through:

• Special offers
• Promotions
• Specific in-game activities or challenges

 

Do Chests expire?

Yes, all Chests have an expiry date.

• PokerStars Rewards Chests expire after 30 calendar days
• Promotional Chests have varying expiry dates depending on the offer

You can view expiry details once the Chest is credited.

You can find all your Chests in the Promotions & Rewards hub.

Go to:

Promotions & Rewards → My Rewards → Chests

 

When can I open my Chests?

• PokerStars Rewards Chests — available immediately after unlocking
• Promotional Chests — unlock based on promotion conditions

 

What do the padlock and hourglass icons mean?

Some promotional Chests show status indicators:

• Green padlock: Chest is unlocked and ready to open
• Yellow hourglass: Chest is locked and shows when it will unlock
